Mathura Residency

Its a old style built Mathura Residency but the maintenance is quite good. Good for a short stay. Has very spacious room. All basic amenities including lift, hot water, extra bed, food available. The reception is polite and helpful. Has a taxi stand right in front. Little far from the local bus stand. Has various food options around and pretty close to central market. Also has a mall little far. Would recommend for short duration as its very reasonable pricing. Listed on MakeMyTrip.

Stayed from 19. 08. 23 to 21. 08. 23. Hotel is very near to shimoga town railway station, & central bus stand. The Mathura Residency room was good, economic, has tv, ac, fans, room service, hot water for bath for fixed limited time. Staff manager was very helpful. The Mathura Residency is near to a mall, post office, banks, taxi stand. It has attached restaurant with good quality food. The town is on bengaluru - talguppa railway line. The jog falls is near by about 3 hours by car.

This Mathura Residency is good and also economically reasonable. Location is in safe zone 1.2 km from Shivamogga bus stand. Management understand my need and extended early check in and late check out as as I went to Shivamogga to take cancer medicine from Narsipura. I suggest management to control misty smell in room and little more clean is also required. Except these 2 remarks overall Mathura Residency experience is good and recommend to stay.

I booked and the check-in was smooth and fast. The room is basic but spacious. It's a little run down, but everything works. There is hot water in the mornings from 6am to 9am. There is a restaurant that serves south indian and north indian vegetarian food. The 4g connection is very slow in the room (1 mbps download and 300 kbps upload. The toilet is an indian toilet. If you are okay with that, it's a good budget Mathura Residency.

At the heart of the City, though old but good comfortable stay for the price you pay. A small food Mathura Residency besides this is good for regular South indian food like idli, dosa vada etc. A good Park right opposite this Mathura Residency is good to relax. A nice food court on the next lane. Nice place for this price.

It's overall a good place. Only downside i felt is floor is bit dirty due to non maintained marble. But location is great. Nice place if your are on a trip and jumping to gokarna/goa or coming from goa to bengaluru. Parking is available. Working air conditioner, silent nights. Nice veg resturant. Near by eateries.

Room was neat and hygiene maintained in bathroom. Restaurant attached to lodge was good. But you collected higher charge of about 250 rupees. Booking at the lodge counter costs at least 20 per cent less than your so called discounted rate. Disappointed at your exorbitant higher rate.

It's value for money, property is in best location and hygienic. There's adjoining restaurant with good quality food.

This Mathura Residency is old one but in the main part of the Town. Nearby veg and non veg food courts are there. Hotel is neatly maintained. Those who need Western toilets can request before booking the room.

This property is located centrally in the city with proximity to majority areas by walk. More than decent place for a budget friendly stay. Staff are good.

Your Mathura Residency manager is kind & curtious to incoming guests especially to aged people. He was very helpful to meet the needs of customers. We enjoyed the stay.

Overall it was good experience. It will be better if the neatness in toilets is little improved but it's worth for the money.

The location was really good. It is better than most of the lodges at the same price range. Improvements could be made in cleanliness. The services and staffs were good and friendly.
