Mauve Orchid Homestay | Room & Caretaker

I found out about this place online and it has a good rating so i decided to book it. It is not like a regular Mauve Orchid Homestay | Room & Caretaker, it feels more like a big house, the room i had booked was pretty clean, the washroom was also good and had hot water amenities as well. There are no restrictions in going in or out the gate is open 24hrs, also the markets are nearby so you don't have to travel much for food or drinks. The only problem i faced was that in the morning there were a couple of cockroaches near the dustbin of the room, it was definitely not a good thing to see in such a room, except this rest of things were pretty good.

It's a okay property with heritage value of the building, but location wise okay. Restaurants are nearby for which you have to take a walk or drive. It's good for economical short stay. I found the toilet to be not good, because no hot water was coming in the morning and no power back up. In the early hour's at 2am the power went off and my sleep was disturbed and the power resumed only at 5am. Okay place for short stay. I got the ground floor rooms which was comfortable to handle the luggage. There were helpers to handle the luggage. And the car parking was okay without proper floor.

Staying at mauve orchid was a pleasant surprise. It's an old bungalow converted into a stay. Rooms are spacious enough and are kept neat and tidy. The bathroom was cleanly maintained. The room had ac & a fan. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. It's situated close to the city center in nazarbad area. Lots of places to visit around. Also the famous mylari Mauve Orchid Homestay | Room & Caretaker is right in front of the property. 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a budget friendly & hassle free stay.

We had 2 days of stay in mysore and booked 4 room. For the money we paid it was valuable. All 4 room were having balcony and room was well maintained. Wifi is very slow and difficult for use. Bathroom was clean and having water heater. There is no parking facility for more vehicles. Only one traveller can park inside the facility. No much space available for parking more vehicle. Overall support and service was good.

The best part about this property is its location. It is very near to zoo and palace. I up-ma were nice. Staff was very good. The famous vinayaka mylari dosa joint is very near. Reliance fresh is on the same property which is very helpful for any grocery needs. There is parking space. The only issue is parking is single lane. So if there are multiple cars, you might have to move your car for others to take out.

The location is good as it is near to mysore palace and zoo. However on make my trip it shows breakfast included while booking but the Mauve Orchid Homestay | Room & Caretaker does not have a kitchen. They just provide tea/coffee in the morning. Please update the information. Rest the property is clean and good. The room on ground floor are very nice. The rooms on top floor are standard rooms with ac.

The rooms were very neat and clean and the best part of our stay with mauve orchid was the behaviour of their staff. They are extremely co-operative, well behaved and well mannered. The stay is in the heart of the town where everything from eateries to tourist places are very easily accessible. Nice property, has a bit of antique-y touch to it.

It was at an affordable cost earlier, now the rates increased. Every-time i visit i can't get a room except for one on the ground floor.

We stayed there for only 1 day, the property doesn’t provide food, travelers have to take care of it. Very close to zoo and palace

The place was very good and clean. But one of the acs was not working properly. The owner was very polite and friendly.

Very hygienic and well maintained rooms. The staffs were kind and friendly. Ideal for ssb candidates as it is just 1km away from afsb. Wifi was a bit slow.

The stay was awesome we had no disturbance. The staff was very cooperative. The place is near to mysuru place and other attractions

The property is unique with antique style roofs and lights. We are not known about the food/kitchen facility. The kitchen is being used by staff.

It is situated in the central part so everything is nearby and accessible in point of view of transport and sightseeing. Caretakers treatment is nice. Helpful nature. Hygiene was really good.
