MAYFAIR Hill Resort

It’s always a delight staying here. Except this time i had a bit of an incident. I had left the window open to enjoy the cool breeze/ fog. Once i finished my shower and came to into the room, i found a big monkey sitting on the sofa, it came in through the window. I hadn’t been warned about this by the staff and was caught by surprise to say the least. I managed to lure the monkey with some cookies while i dial-led the reception, the phone and the monkey were less than three feet apart. Unlike other times, i got no answer despite calling several times with the monkey sitting in front of me. I managed to run out of the room in just a robe and had to yell for help in the corridor. They were prompt to help and shoo the monkey away. While it’s hilarious now, i would have appreciated a fair warning and an answer to the calls i made to the reception. I was in a compromising situation. So definitely a heads up for other travellers. I wouldn’t let this deter anyone else’s stay here. Other than that episode, it’s a very good stay. Sheets and laundry are always clean (something that i don’t find in other stays in darjeeling, staff is friendly and helpful and it’s a beautiful well curated property. It’s my first pick of stay in darjeeling. I would suggest the property to install mesh windows if possible so that one can enjoy the fresh air and avoid the monkey menace. The only ‘complaint’ i have is that shower curtains had mold in them which i wish was taken care of.

Mayfair hill resort, darjeeling is arguably one of the most beautiful heritage MAYFAIR Hill Resorts in india and the best luxury MAYFAIR Hill Resort available for staycation with all modern amenities in the queen of hills. Our room was so spic k and span and well organized. Thanks to staff and the management for that. Each and every staff member that we came across during our 2-night stay at mayfair hill resort, darjeeling was so courteous, polite and heedful that it really made our experience over there a truly remarkable one. Nevertheless, MAYFAIR Hill Resort staff right from reception lounge, housekeeping, f&b section all were exceptionally well-mannered and prompt in their services. We came to know that once upon a time, it was the summer retreat of the maharaja of nazargunj, an indian princely state in bihar. My quest for look-see in mayfair was the library dedicated to tenzing norgay. A luxury MAYFAIR Hill Resort, warm hospitality, royal touch, close affinity with nature. Bravo! looking forward to visiting this beautiful property in the near future very soon.

Mayfair hill resort darjeeling exceeded all expectations during our recent stay. Situated just a short walk from darjeeling mall, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and serenity with its breathtaking views of the valley. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with exceptional care and attention, setting the tone for a remarkable experience. The resort itself is a masterpiece, with elegant surroundings that complement the natural beauty of the area. The food was exquisite, with a breakfast spread that left us spoilt for choice. The addition of facilities like the games room and gym ensured there was always something to do. Overall, mayfair hill resort darjeeling is truly a gem and made our stay unforgettable. We can't wait to return!

I stayed in mayfair darjeeling for four days. Mayfair is a prestigious MAYFAIR Hill Resort located at the most prime location- near the mall road. Due to its proximity to the mall road it was easier to just walk to it. The rooms are big and amazing. The food is also very good. Just like home cooked food. I ate all the cuisines. All staff members are very polite and maintain a high level of safety and cleanliness. There are several things to do just inside the MAYFAIR Hill Resort, like there is a spa and a library, a kids room where there are several toys (thereby making it a very family place, there is also indoor games for adults like pool table, carrom table and table tennis etc. I enjoyed my stay at mayfair quite a lot.

Mayfair hill resort is amazing in almost all perspectives. It's a beautiful property with breath taking views directly from room (room 203) itself. It's a colorful property with flowers everywhere which offers very calm and soothing ambience. Another important aspect of mayfair is their ideal location. Hotel has a lift that takes us directly to mall road level with just 5-7 minutes from mall road. Hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. Morning breakfast is amazing with good variety. A possible area of improvement is increasing restaurant staff during breakfast time considering peak season. All in all we are delighted with our stay at mayfair and would like to stay again for sure.

Property is good, well maintained, staff’s behaviour also nice, hair dresser is a so nice person, salon services are good also, rooms should be little comfy,rooms are very small for 3 person in a family and for one thing i got disappointed , i called for tea and biscuits refill in my room but thr is no response from thr side, no one has cone to fullfill our request, and one morr thing view from Mayfair is totally bolcked by many newly constructed buildings and MAYFAIR Hill Resorts, we can see only buildings from MAYFAIR Hill Resort room, and thr is no balcony attached with our room,foods not bad, hygiene well maintained

The experience inside MAYFAIR Hill Resort itself should be considered as another sight. It was beautiful with natural flowers and plants with amazing staff & food. Right from the lobby to multiple breakout places, awesome bar or anything you name it. I would say even though it’s little pricey but worth every penny. Special shout-out to dad a on bar who offered an amazing complementary mocktail to my wife since i was gulping down beers and she was just watching denying to try any drink. To top it all, we got a free upgrade to a better and larger room with heritage look.

With the unparalleled view from lloyd’s cottage in mayfair resort, the cozy douglas bar, the legendary tenzing nor-gay library, and the iconic lobby, we had a great 3-day summer retreat at mayfair resort darjeeling. The hospitality and service are top notch as always. Little area of improvements are: i) the spa services, therapists are not up to the mark for a resort of this stature, and ii) the food at magnolia restaurant, you can get far better food at keventer’s, glenary’s or any other local restaurant outside in the mall area in darjeeling.

I asked jesus, how much do you love me? - and jesus said 'this much. I can't say more than this about my stay in darjeeling.

Visited the property in january 24, booking done through mmt, excellent property, good rooms and great hospitality. Food is a bit costly though. Rooms are super luxurious.

Mayfair darjeeling is one of the most aesthetically pleasing properties. You will never get bored of taking pictures of this place. The rooms are good. The service is excellent. The ambience is exceptional.

Mahadev temple is love amazing view superb service all amenities food is delicious staff is gentle and talkative scenic n serene calm atmosphere go from the entrance in front of governor's house near to mall road and market you can have kanchanjanga from near no need to go to tiger hill
