MeBaKeR View Inn

I stayed for 4 days (dec 2024) in the g1 room which is on the ground floor. It had no balcony and one window (the curtains being a bit problematic to shut completely. The neighborhood is quiet. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. The people serving food are kind and warm. There are not too many amenities but at the price point it can be considered although there is room for improvement. If you want hot water you've to go fetch it from the kitchen area every time. Tv didn't have recharge. As for mobile network, jio doesn't work there, air-tel can somehow be used. Wifi is available. Rooms were clean but didn't have a water heating kettle which was a bit disappointing. Geyser is available for bath. Parking space is limited and could be a hassle. But as for the people serving there, they were kind and tried to make our stay as comfortable as they could. The food and vibe of the place was amazing. I'll absolutely consider staying there whenever i go next.

it is like a homestay, host is very nice, she gave us room at first floor which was clean and very comfortable to stay in this winter, january. host is very helpful to guide for local side scenes, available shared taxi to go to barabazar and policebazar. host prepared very delicious their traditional chicken rice for us for two day's dinner at reasonable price. homestay is in upper lumping which is 15 mins away by car from police bazar, but if anyone want to explore Shillong villages and hill roads this is a very nice place to stay.

Here the first thing I loved is the host. She is very friendly and made really delicious food. We ate dinner and next day morning breakfast both were too good. And coming to the cleanliness and responsiveness of the host is really good. They welcomed us with a smile and sent off us with a smile. I would love to visit them again. The only issue with the stay is it's bit far from the shillong city. Cabs were bit expensive to that place

Excellent service. They treated us well and the rooms were clean. Local khasi dish provided by the owner was good as well.

Nice place with a good view staff were very helpful.............though getting a cab from the MeBaKeR View Inn is a bit hard still the stay was very good at a good price Nice stay love the place with a beautiful view good price lovely view from the terrace of the MeBaKeR View Inn plus staff were also very friendly although getting a cab from the MeBaKeR View Inn is a bit hard above all the stay was very pleasant highly recommended

Nice staying its clean, great view from upstairs, also there is parking area, even food services is also available

The stay was absolutely awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the parking space is very limited and therefore have to adjust.

Location was good, whole view of shillong can be seen from the terrace. Owner was also good and helpful.
