The Mercure Chandigarh Tribune Chowk is centrally located and rooms were up to the mark. However, i did not appreciate the fact the during check in the staff asked to deposit security deposit against food bills. I found this to be offending and rather insulting asking guest to deposit security against food bills. This is the first time i have a business class Mercure Chandigarh Tribune Chowk making this kind of request to their guest.

Welcoming staff. They are always ready to help you and are polite. Rooms are good and the location is ideal(20 min ride to airport). The one thing that needs a little improvement is the variety of food they serve in the breakfast( It is a new Mercure Chandigarh Tribune Chowk to hoping it will improve immensely). Will definitely come again.

Ambience and room aesthetics ate actually good. However the approach towards the room entrance, washroom space, room roof maintenance truly needs attention and regular cleanliness. The parking areas are not looking clean and thus needs attention too on regular intervals.

Decent rooms, good location, close to elante mall which has lots of dining options. Front desk staff was very friendly and warm. Breakfast options were good. While service was quick and efficient, however they need to maintain service standards

The Mercure Chandigarh Tribune Chowk and the room were good. But the refrigerator did not work. The pillows were so thick that the neck started hurting on the first night. On the second night i had to take the cushion from my car.
