MERIDIAN BAY RESORT & SPA

The resort is nestled amid lush greenery in Kundapura, just a 2-hour drive from Mangalore. I booked a suite room, and upon arriving, I found it to be very spacious, neat, and clean. Since it was lunchtime and we were quite hungry, we completed the check-in formalities on 20th July 2023 and headed straight to the restaurant COASTAL CURRY. The food at the restaurant was simply awesome and very delicious. For dinner, we decided to dine in our room, and the service was prompt and efficient. I highly recommend trying their Tomato Dhania Sorba—it's a must-try! We also ordered regular Chinese dishes, such as veg Manchurian and Hakka Garlic noodles, which were bursting with flavor. It had been a while since I had such a delightful culinary experience. However, the fried rice was a bit lacking in taste. During breakfast the next day, I had the pleasure of meeting the Chief Chef, Mr. Bajpai. He turned out to be a very humble and friendly person, and I must say, I was truly impressed and would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the delectable food served both at dinner and breakfast. While the overall experience was fantastic, I felt a bit disappointed with the upkeep of the property. The resort should have been maintained better. Nevertheless, I must mention that the staff members were very polite and helpful, especially Mr. Kaushal Sharma. Their hospitality added to the positive aspects of our stay, and I believe people should consider this resort for a relaxing getaway and to savor the delightful food.

We had a pleasant stay however there were a few shortcomings 1. The receptionist rarely picks up the phone we went down and informed them that the tv is not working _inspite of this they didn't respond 2. The ac starts to cool only after half an hour and after 2 ac service men came to rectify it-this is a recurring problem_we had complained about it when we had stayed a few years back the food quality is average we booked a deluxe room but it's overly priced and amenities are few _theres no hair drier or iron even though the booking was for 2 adults and a child we had to ask for towels and toiletries and even a laundry bag the staff was courteous especially the restaurant staff the pool was good and the surroundings were well maintained even though there were plastic bottles strewn near the pool area only 2, 500 ml water bottles are provided for 3 members and extra drinking water is charged

Location is good, food taste and options are good. Poor service and not clean at all, bees over the table while eating. When asked the support staff they told cleaning is done, but we can’t avoid. Rooms were spacious but floors were sticky, they use to clean but not able to clean the stickiness. Staff walk with shoes so they don’t get to feel it. It’s really getting dirty if you walk bare foot on the room floor. Washroom taps were broken, had to ask for towel, mat etc multiple times. Parking was nice, games were good.

Very good property and easily accessible. Stay was very comfortable with prompt room service. Buffet breakfast was good we were asked to pay an extra 1, 000 rupees per day per room at check in if we wanted a room at the main building with elevator. We were told that booking is eligible for a room at the annex which does not have an elevator. Apparently this is mentioned in the make my trip booking page. I was traveling with senior citizens and was forced to pay extra for 3 rooms!

Excellent stay at uva meridian bay. The deluxe room was quite plush and nice. This place is quite vast with lot of greenery all around. The food served at the restaurant is extremely good. It is a little far from udupi (30 kms) but i believe it is still worth the extra drive. The staff is very courteous and make your stay very memorable. Qudos to the chefs in the kitchen. All the dishes we had at their restaurant was extremely tasty. Will definitely recommend this place.

Very conveniently located (for all the famous temple visits, great food, very courteous staff. Chef krishna's veg delicacies were just yum. Lots of options for breakfast. The waterpark facility is just next door and kids enjoyed the visit. Kodai beach which is at a short driving distance from this place is simply serene for morning beach walk enthusiasts. Overall a memorable place for family stay.

The property is excellent! clean pool, big room (we got deluxe) and good food at the restaurant. The amenities like indoor games, spa and lovely reading corners with good books are a plus. The staff (esp the manager) is very courteous and accommodative. The adjoining water park is a treat for kids. Not crowded. Small but well maintained. Overall enjoyed our 2 day break thoroughly.

It is nice resort with vast place. For marriage ad other functions they have huge place to offer. Suit room really very nice for that price

Very neatly maintained property with excellent rooms. Front office is very supportive. Kids have very good water park inside property. Good Breakfast buffet and excellent service. We’ll visit again. Very near to Kodi beach and Marvanthe excellent location to spend time with Family.

I had booked it for 2 days. The MERIDIAN BAY RESORT & SPA was good rooms were clean pool was clean food was good great ambiance amazing people everything was top notch feel pleased and welcomed it was a great stay and felt bad while leaving hope will get to stay another day there amazing place.

Best property to stay around kundapur, amusement park is superb to enjoy for the kids. It’s nearer to many places like angegudda, hattiyangadi, and maravanthe beach.
