Meridian Hill Top

I visited with my family in the month March 2023, the goal was to take a break from routine and relax. I booked the master suite which is on the top floor with a very good view of the valley. However later I realised I could have got a similar experience with valley view room(second best in listing). Pros 1. The property is actually build on a hill, literally you could see big rocks and stumps of trees as part of the property which to me was a unique experience. 2. The surrounding is calm and serene unless people decide to make noise in the play area. 3. There's a fire place for campfire, play area and a big pool 4. Food quality and taste is good Cons 1. The property is designed well but the workmanship spoils the place. It lacks a lot of fit and finish(see pic). The place lacks finesse in many places. There are areas which looks like construction is still ongoing. 2. No Lift but for us it was fine. 3. WiFi is there BUT not there. The speed is extremely slow such that it's barely usable. When I informed the maintenance staff I was informed that if there's an another WiFi they can facilitate in the reception. In the room I didn't get any WiFi nor my mobile network. Well, not a deal breaker since we wanted to take a break from routine 😬 but if you have something important to do then it's a no deal. 4. Smart TV is there but without WiFi is no good. Tata sky is the but most times it didn't work either add it was saying location is cloudy or raining 😁 which obviously wasn't. Without TV kids was disappointed for sometime. 5. Pool - Big pool and small pool for kids but the water was too cold even in the afternoon we couldn't really get into. But there were some people who could swim. But I'm sure we can't spend much time in water at that temperature. We need a heated pool 🙂 6. Food price - we felt it's very costly. A filter coffee is priced at INR 100. (Attaching the menu) 7. No covered parking 8. Play area is not maintained well. For eg. Table tennis bat is worn out and can't play. Carrom board is also not maintained well. Snooker table is not clean etc. Overall - not a regret but could have been better.

1. Only if you have a private transport, you can reach this place 2. The food is really good as compared to other local options that are available - price is decent, taste is good, quantity in some dishes might be low 3. I would recommend valley view room as the view is simply amazing. The view especially at night is really beautiful 4. They have snooker, carrom, table tennis and swimming pool along with boon fire 5. Some parts of the building are still under construction and it might look better once completed

Pleasant stay, great service good food as well ! amazing view and very pleasant, the most relaxing place ever ! lovely breeze in the evening, beautiful sun rise in the mornings ! rooms could have a bit cleaner, the drapes in the bathroom were all moulded. Hot water will be an issue if the Meridian Hill Top has more number of guests in the morning. Good for family !

Stay was comfortable, excellent food and they also provide complimentary breakfast. Camp fire was organised. Wifi network speed needs to be improved as it's difficult to get mobile network connectivity. Located 4kms away from lake. But they arrange for cab for site seeing. If you've your own vehicle, that's best. Overall 4. 5/5.

We stayed three days in the valley view room. Best of the views in yercaud. Hotel staff and manager charles was very responsive and make the stay even better. For ppl who love a secluded stay suggest booking in weekdays to avoid the weekend crowds. Overall it was a wonderful peaceful stay at meridien. Will surely recommend

In a calm and safe location, without being away from the hustle bustle of the city centre, the Meridian Hill Top's amenities are really set up. Friendly staff, and good breakfast to start your heavy day. Only wish they had a better tv experience, and take care of play area equipment maintenance.

Perched on top of the mountain, this place gives your a breathtaking view of the valley amid-st the cloud. Food was excellent. Staff are extremely cordial. Management was accommodative of a few of our specific requirements since we travel-led with a baby. Highly recommended.

Perfect destination for a peaceful holiday. Neat accommodation, friendly team, excellent breakfast they all combine to make meridian hilltop a wonderful choice for a good retreat. You have excellent view of the valley and a nice space beyond the traffic and crowds.

The service was excellent. The food was homely and very hygienic. The only issue was the pool it was just really dirty.

Property is really good except few amenities in the property are still under construction otherwise a great property for the price. Highly recommended property

Rooms are neat & tidy, valley view is top class.

It is a very good property located on a hill top with excellent view. However view is not available from deluxe rooms. Breakfast menu has good options. Staff is cordial. The general upkeep may be improved.

Mrng breakfast is wonderful lot of varieties and they serving as humble way

Everything was good and excellent. Only the swimming pool water has to be recirculated to maintain normal temperature. The water in the swimming pool is too cool and can't be comfortable to swim in it.

We planned for a summer vacation and chosen hilltop meridian through make my trip after going through the prior reviews. It is very nice and pleasant Meridian Hill Top to stay. Full of greenery and an excellent ambience. Great place to relax and recharge.
