MGM Velankanni Residency

Excellent stay at velankanni with family with spacious rooms, kids play area, lawn and tasty food
We have stayed in grandeur suite and the room was excellent. Checkin/checkout is very quick. They have a kids' play area with a lawn which my kids enjoyed very much. The swimming pool is under maintenance. Food is tasty from their own restaurant named virundhu. The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and it had more varieties like idly & dos a with Chutneys & sambar, samba riva upma, madhu vada, pancake, boiled egg, bread, corn flakes/chaocos with hot & cold milk, tea, coffee, strawberry milkshake, pineapple juice. I would definitely stay again and recommend this MGM Velankanni Residency for an excellent stay with family at velankanni

1. One of the best places to stay in velankanni 2. The building is very old but nicely maintained 3. Rooms are cramped for space. Having a balcony in all rooms is nice 4. Toiletries provided were of good quality. Towels were in very bad shape. 5. Restaurant serves tasty food. Breakfast was very good. 6. The staff were polite 7. Booked 3 rooms for 7 adults + 2 kids. They gave one extra bed, when asked for another one they said it will be charged extra. Spending so much for the rooms and paying extra for extra beds could have been avoided. 8. Swimming pool was good. 9. Far from the church, if you don't have your own vehicle it will get difficult to go to church. Overall, the stay was good and pleasant.

Location is slightly away if you plan to visit the velankanni church, about 2km. (100rs by autorickshaw) the property is nice very much "value for money. Located just near highway, a small garden there, reasonably kept food is ok but a bit costly, probably it's kept like that to reduce local tourists? food is very good. Rooms are good good sleep quality. I expected mosquito, but it was not there. A small bar is present. A staff very good helpfull and good.

Location is good, it's on d main road, food is yum, the restaurant staff are always on their toes, they go to each table and ask if anything is needed and serve hot fresh food, their service is too good n so is the breakfast buffet, amenities and service of the MGM Velankanni Residency is overall excellent, the premises is neat and clean. Me n my family are certainly coming back to this same place again whenever we come to valankanni.

The staff were extremely competent, friendly & professional. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable however the toilet water had a stench that was tolerable. One complaint i had would be that the pool was not completely clean, the water seemed fine however there were a lot of leaves, i would suggest more frequent cleaning. Overall the stay was pleasant.

The rooms were neat snd tidy. They will ample parking space and very friendly staff. The stay was nice and comfortable. Very friendly staff and amazing food. Good MGM Velankanni Residency at velankanni. Breakfast is ok. But not comparable with 3 star MGM Velankanni Residencys in other cities. Room service is good. Food was tasty. Facilities are ok. But you will have to adjust with some renovated and old fittings. There was a leak from shower tap while on. I just ignored it. Swimming pool was well maintained.

This is not a star MGM Velankanni Residency. Other than mgm all other MGM Velankanni Residencys are not up to the work. We go to velankanni every year. I don't have any other option. So we stay in mgm. It is a ok MGM Velankanni Residency. Bathroom only cement flooring. Chicken served in the restaurant is frozen. Staffs behavior is good.

The rooms were clean and well decorated, bathrooms were also clean, however the absence of exhaust fans causes a damp smell sometimes. The MGM Velankanni Residency restaurant serves good food especially the breakfast. Overall a pleasant stay.
