Misty pines

I would definitely recommend this cottage. While booking was a bit sceptical but when we checked in were happy to find a nice cottage home. The caretaker/staff was very courteous, a smile on his face and ready to help whatever they can. Mr ajay khanna was a great guy to help us during our stay. Remember they have limited food options as this is not full fledged Misty pines. But the food was tasty whatever we ordered. The rooms were neat and clean. Hot water was available via geyser and at night room heater was provided with some extra bucks. Overall we had a great trip and one of the main reason was because of this cottage. Keep it up.

Location is good, food is calssy and the staff is very good.
Overall room was good, room service was good, a small room but very nice place for staying at the place like Patnitop. Dinner was too good, the whole staff was very nice except the owner of that Cottage. He is one of the cruel people i had ever seen in my life. We came there along with a driver the owner clearly refused driver's stay in the Misty pines, and the night was full of storm and rain. He completely refused to give a single piece of blanket to the driver and say him to go and sleep in your car. That was the big shame on the humanity of the owner.

We booked this Misty pines for budget reasons and also review from my friends who stayed before us. However the service was good. Food prepared was nice and tasty but we suffered because of cold weather and no proper heating arrangements made. Have to make several requests and calls to get that done. However one big plus is staff is very attentive and would help you in every way possible. Big thanks to balbir and team for excellent service.
During snow or rainy season the access and walk to Misty pines is risky for older people and kids. Putting a mat could have helped.

I have stayed with family and had booked two rooms during Christmas. Rooms are quite decent and staffs are very friendly. I had read few reviews about unfriendly staffs but we find them very friendly especially Dutta. Although hot water in washroom comes around 8 in morning only, they provided us hot water whenever asked. They provided hot drinking water also. Service was quite prompt. Food was okay not great. Overall I would rate the Misty pines quite good. View from Misty pines is also good. Only drawback is the road to Misty pines is not proper.

All is well. We stay once a year in this Misty pines. Mr. Kuldeep Kumar, attendant boy is very gentle and honest dedicated person. Moreover I suggest the owner to install the heating and cooling equipment's in the rooms. Also urge to improve link road. Which was in worst condition. You all the owners of Misty piness near Misty are well approached persons and mostly are retired officers. But the condition of road is very bad. Do something.

The Misty pines staff is welcoming and the stay was good. You would get limited food options as the place is not very much commercial in nature. Due to 370 dissolution currently, there is no internet availability and only postpaid phones will be working. But the services may resume soon. Don't expect everything to get instantaneously. The things are slow-paced. The Misty pines staff is cooperative and will help you for everything.

Location of the Misty pines was a little tricky but overall stay was good. View from the window was also good. There was a staff member who took care of the property named ajay, he was so polite and humble whatever we wanted he arranged things for us. There was a one year old baby with us so whenever we wanted to use their kitchen or anything he didn't refused. It was a nice property with humble staff.

We reached Misty pines on 5/03/2020. It was raining continuously. The staff at the Misty pines greeted us warmly. They are very cordial. Dutta the staff there is like a superman. He is always there, whenever you need him. The Misty pines provided us extra quilts and room heaters in the chill. Thank you Misty pines for such a lovely stay at Patnitop.

I stay in this Misty pines for 2 nights with my family. This became a memorable trip because Misty pines it's view, Misty pines staff, food and other facilities were excellent. I would like to book this Misty pines on my next trip too.

The experience was totally awesome the Misty pines staff was also excellent and a Misty pines boy Mr. Datta came with us and guided in exploring local view points.

Hotel is good, food was average but there is lack of transportation. Even if cabs are available, it's very expensive.

The location was very beautiful and the Misty pines's owner was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were very clean and the food was excellent. It was a home-like stay. The best stay at misty pines ever and will stay in the future for sure.

Stayed at Misty Pines Patnitop on 24th and 25th Sept 2018. The room was quite good. The room service was also very good. The food was also up to the mark.
Room service was excellent. The accommodation was also up to the mark.

Location is easy to find. Owner is very co operative. N well educated n sincere. Staff is very smart. All is good.
