Misty View Cottage

It was a nice experience for us. Really happy with the stay. Beautiful place to stay with a great location (munnar) clean room and friendly staff. Awaiting for the next visit.

Location was good but no food available

Please don't prefer this hotel in munnar. Its don't have good care taker, he don't receive call from us, very bad experience was there. Not perfect location, no drinking water available, no security, no food solution, bathroom water problem

We didn't bath over there because there was no hot water facility in the bathroom,

This place is not the right place for family. We booked 4 rooms, couple of rooms in one end and other rooms in another end, we have to travel for 300m down the hill for other two rooms, instead of staying separately, we opted for rooms near us and that’s the big mistake we did. The rooms on the upstairs were partially good and the rooms on the ground floor were very bad, it was not at all maintained. The doors were damaged and the room was not even painted properly. The rooms were very stinky, beds were very uncomfortable and the heater was not working in the upstairs. We booked 4 rooms for 9 people and the caretaker didn’t even provide us extra bed then he gave us finally after pestering him, and he didn’t give any quilt and pillow for the extra bed, he was not at all responsive. It is his duty to be responsive and help us with what we need. He did not pick our call for atleast 10 times in 8. 30pm, when we questioned why he didn’t answer he was like why should i tell you all these. And at night, the restroom was filled with insects as the window in the restroom were open and in one room we weren’t even able to close the window.

Location, view and staffs are good. Don't use shortcut path if you are not familiar in riding hills, it was too steep and very tiny road.

Nice view from the balcony and room was super clean and neat and the caretaker was excellent very communicative and helpful and friendly. Overall best experience!
