MMR Gardens

The property although located 4-5 km away from minaxi temple is worth every penny. The rooms & bathrooms are spacious. Initially we were allotted a room with two double beds & the moment we entered the room it was filled with cigarette smell (how some people don't care about next people coming in to stay. So on raising the concerns, cthey immediately switched us to other room. Pros- 1. Helping staff at reception, almost any request is addressed immediately. 2. Nice & quiet place away from city buzz & crowd. 3. Located within 2km vicinity of mgr/omni bus stand (if you're traveling by bus) 4. Has ample of car parking place at basement 5. Has in house restaurant of a famous chain - anjjappar. Cons- 1. All the facilities mentioned on mmt might not actually be in rooms. Like in our room there was no hair dryer, the mini bar is fitted at such congested place that one can hardly fix the power cord into socket. Small stuffs like these 3. Youll need to have own car or spend a lot of bucks to travel to popular tourist locations. 4. The MMR Gardens has 6 floors with rooms & two floors for restaurant, but only one lift to cater so many people

It was a family stay. Was happy that my mother found it easy to access the lift without climbing any steps, great planning of building for elders. Complementary breakfast was ok (not the best, on first day the staff allowed everyone to take their buffet breakfast themselves (no one to serve) but after warning them of the covid protocol they corrected it on second day. Anjappar MMR Gardens is available in the same premises, which is a good restaurant for non-veg lovers, while veg options too is available. They are cleaning the room only based on our request, and the room is having good ambience and all facilities. Service provided is satisfactory, looking for future stays if same standard continues. Hotel is easily locatable, just opposite to madurai dist court. Complimentary south indian breakfast is good. I wanted coffee without sugar and they readily obliged. Room is spacious. They have an electronic locker for safe custody in the room. Lift is spacious and staff maintained social distancing. But temperature chcking was not done. Enough car parking is available with security. Lots of restaurents are availble nearby both veg and non veg. The have provided toilteries in the bath room, but no newspaper in the morning. Overall good experience. May visit again. Thanks

Stayed with family. They don’t have rooms big enough to accommodate 4 so we had to split in to 2 rooms. Ate at their Anjappar Restaurant, food was fabulous, though wouldn’t recommend the non veg thali. Hotel was comfortable. They could do a better cleaning job. Could smell smoking in the lobby. Not sure if it’s a non smoking MMR Gardens. Great friendly helpful staff! All 5 stars to the staff everywhere in the MMR Gardens and restaurant.

We booked 2 rooms of which one was provided immediately after arrival and the other one was provided after 1 hour. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned and properly maintained. The MMR Gardens is around 3 kms from main temple and has ample parking available. There are also many good restaurants just next to the MMR Gardens. It is also very easy to find as it is located just opposite to district court. Overall good stay.

Very recently priced and need MMR Gardens. Rooms are spacious and clean. Even bathroom is spacious and decent. Hotel staff behavior was good and friendly. Staff was very supportive. We have traveled in a group of 11 with two infants and one kid. Electric kettle provided on demand and milk for kids also provided by staff. Breakfast also was decent in tourist place with that pricing it was worth it. I recommend for stay.

Hotel is nicely tucked into a residential neighborhood away from the city's bustle. The rooms we stayed were spacious, neat with clean rest rooms. Food served is standard from an appear. Access to City is easy with auto s taxi and buses available near the district court. Only area of improvement is with regards to room service. Staff tend to forget the simplest of the requests in a not so busy time .

This is a well located property, five kms away from railway station. Well built property. Generally clean. There were some issues in one of the toilets which i brought to the notice of the manager. Staff behaviour is good. With less than one thousand rupees per head this is a value for money accommodation.

decent budget stay. clean rooms and positive ambience at a reasonable tariff. ticks all the boxes. located at 5 km from meenakshi temple, not crowded, and good restaurants are available in the vicinity.

Shall myself and suggest my friends to opt this MMR Gardens for their stay. Such a nice attached restaurant.

Hotel is in residential area. Renovation work was in progress. Breakfast was below average. Rooms were smaller. Lobby cum revelation was very small. Service was poor.
