Mookaanana Resort

The stay was ecstatic! Beautiful and untouched by the chaos of the city. The hospitality we got was beyond words. Overall a beautiful experience. A little tip for those travelling there. 1. There's no network for a radius of 5 km, so better save your maps. 2. They have power cut issues. They do have a generator to power up the place but it cannot sustain for more than 8 hours which we faced due to unfortunate circumstances. It's a very rare thing but can happen. 3. If you are planning to go during the rainy season, you can feel the pelting of raindrops on your roof and it can be quite annoying at times. You can ask them to get it insulated. 4. The Resort doesn't have leeches as such, but in case you are planning to get out of there, beware of leeches. They are everywhere else. 5. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms as it was still under installation. Please do get it checked with them as its the only mode of communication if you don't have a BSNL sim. 6. You'll have a homely experience and it's a weekend getaway from the city chaos.

This place turned out to be an experience that I never imagined. We did not go anywhere for sightseeing once we entered this place. We were just happy to relax in our beautiful room watching the rain pour down the whole day. The balcony had a hill view that was dreamy with the clouds running fast across it. They provided all meals with the package and even extra snacks at reasonable prices. It's yet to get completed but it's going to be superb when it does. It's a high quality place. Even the bathroom fittings were world class. The host balakrishnan is amazing at working on feedback. I would recommend you go to this place to unwind and forget all your Wi-Fi and network. Just spend quality time with your loved ones. The road is a bit a tricky, so be careful. Also there are two google map locations, one is wrong. The one which shows near Hettur is correct.

Stay was good but still lot of improvement is needed. For example, water supply can stop anytime. On the first night, early morning there was no water. He'd to walk to the reception at the dead of the night to wake the caretaker to check the water in the tank. It took another half hour for the water supply to come to normalcy. No intercom in our room, so for anything send everything, i had to walk to the reception. This is also something they can work on. Maybe go for a wireless intercom for each room as it's hilly area and cabling is susceptible to damages. Ambience was good. Food is good. Staff are all very friendly and supportive cost is exorbitant for the facilities available considering that nothing is included. All sightseeing tours etc are chargeable extra

Excellent resort with 4-star facilities including ac, geyser, D2h tv, two double beds one in a balcony room and below. Beautifully maintained and clean. Staffs are very courteous. Away from the tourist areas of Sakleshpur and Chikmagalur. Very near to Bisle forest. If you love very heavy rain, greenery and mountains you will love the resort. Stream flowing everywhere around in rainy season. The Mookanamane Waterfalls was amazing , its have very less tourist and clean with no plastics thrown around. Totally still a pristine area with less explored and clean environment.

The resort is very accessible with all the required facilities to relax with pals. Food quality is good with kitchen hours till appropriate time. The staff is coordinating just the issue is phone network as only jio works here but other than that i found my stay memorable. And the most important part like other resorts this resort not even asked me to post a review but i am writing this to make people aware that at a great price this place provides you a great stay near sakleshpur.

First half an hour was a little hustle as the room given to us was still under construction and with no ac. Later they changed for room to a very cozy, luxury room with a beautiful balcony with greenery surrounded. The swimming pool was good but was heavily crowded. Not much activities to do except for few indoor games and nature walk, kayaking in their made pond. Over all a good weekend place to hangout with kids. Highly priced, food was good and the staff were very courteous.

Briefly, no complains starting from the security, the manager, the food associate everyone is welcoming and so courteous in their behavior. The resort have places covered that 1 day can be reserved for it to roam properly. Jungle hanging clean duplex cottages makes the day complete as soon as u enter it. Food quality is not awesome but definitely not disappointing. Infinity swimming pool is true as advertised. The manager is a gentleman and attends every guest personally.

The Resort is just amazing. The room Mallige cottage is just beyond expectations. They had a attic space made into a small cozy sleeping space enough for a couple on a romantic and relaxing getaway. This space is apart from the spacious room that we got. Special thanks to one of the Mookaanana Resort staffs Avinash. He made the stay very comfortable.

Best place for vacation and staff is very much supportive. Only issue is with mobile network but that is compensated by wifi provided. Only issue with speed of wifi which can be improved

We stayed in malice cottages near pool. Room and service was good. Staff behavior is good. Only difficulty we faced when we are reaching to Resort from Sakleshpur. It would be good if they put sign boards towards Sakleshpur Road also.

We had a great stay. Location and resort ambience is great. They have got few activities as well to engage you during your stay. Staffs behaviour was good. Only dissatisfaction was on food primarily lunch and dinner. Rooms and view from room was amazing. I will recommend it for its rooms, view, activities, greenery and surroundings.

It was good stay. But Mookaanana Resort manager was bit rude.

It's an awesome place to stay for one day to rejuvenate your self

Resort itself is amazing, very big, nice and clean spacious rooms, friendly staff, good food and great location. Just a little overpriced i got the room for 17k for two nights. I understand that resort has been closed for months and it was raining heavily so few things were not working but he gave a discount so thumbs up!

Stay was awesome but food could be improved

We extremely enjoyed our stay here, thanks to the amazing weather and the wonderful staff. The Resort staff behaviour and service is commendable. The food served to us tasted very homely. The best part would be the man-made heart shaped pond they have created for Kayaking. Beautiful. Overall experience was fabulous!

The place is serene, calm and quiet. Food was great with an actual restaurant not just a made to order setup. Courteous staff who were helpful regardless of their post.

Manager is a very fine person. Amenities and rooms are excellent

Food was awesome. Hospitality by Mookaanana Resort and his team was great. Location of the resort was also good. Room had no WiFi and poor network connectivity.
