Motel Chandan

I stayed at Motel Chandan for 2 nights in November, 2019 with my spouse. I must say that, I was very much impressed by the services offered by Motel Chandan. 1. The room was very well maintained with all basic amenities like hot water, toiletries, AC, TV, blankets etc. as promised. 2. The room service was prompt and professional. 3. The food in the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. 4. The location of the Motel is a big plus as it is located at walking distance from Khatia gate. 5. They gave us packed breakfast at 5.30 am for our morning jungle safari. If you want they will also give you blankets for the ride to protect yourself from the chilly breeze. 6. They also called us well in advance to make sure that our jungle permissions were in order so that we do not face any problem at the 11th hour. 7. The Motel Chandan has generator backup, spacious lawns for bonfires, outdoor seating arrangements, jungle themed restaurant and rooms and is absolutely secured and safe. 8. The owner and manager Sh. Dinesh Makhija was extremely polite, hospitable and a true gentleman. He is proficient in English, which makes it a choice Motel Chandan for foreign nationals. He also takes great care for every customer. He arranged for our onward trip to Pachmarhi at a reasonable rate. You can depend upon him for car booking, safari booking without any apprehension of being charged unreasonably. I had a great stay at Motel Chandan and considering the facilities they offered at such a remote location like Kanha and at such reasonable price, I think it was great value for money.

Wonderful. Very good stay. Mr. Amit is very generous. Upper room is best if you are in a mood to relax. Room ventilation is very good. You can enjoy bird watching activity from your room only. We enjoy the food also. Very close to Kanha gate. They also packed our lunch in the time of Breakfast. But Chandan Resort has to think about recycling of their wastage. So that we all can contribute to save our mother nature.

Motel chandan is the nearest Motel Chandan in kanha national park at khatiya gate. The rooms are big and clean. The restaurant food is tasty. Please note. Non veg food needs to pure order. The interior are full of trees and plants. Many beautiful areas to take pictures. They also provide cars to drop and pick up with reasonable price. This is the best place to stay.

Considering that it is priced as a budget property, the Motel Chandan surpassed my general expectations. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable and the bathroom clean. Food was also good. Infact, we tried a prominent restaurant in kanha for dinner, but realised that motel chandan served better food than that restaurant. No complaints!

The Motel Chandan is located at a distance of 1 min walking to the Khatia gate. The Motel Chandan owner is very amicable and helpful. The food was really good to taste and pretty budget friendly. The services were very quick. Book it if you are visiting Kanha.

This was my third stay with chandan so there was no doubt in choosing while visiting Kanha National park. Good location and service are the main features of this motel. The rooms will also give you a feel of staying near a jungle which decorated accordingly.

I stayed here with my husband. Amazing ambiance, very polite and attentive staff. Rooms were clean, specially washroom, which is usually a big mood spoiler for me. But here, cleanliness and hygiene was given priority. Food was also okay.

Wonderful stay at this Motel Chandan . Cordial behaviour of all the staff, favourable atmosphere and overall help in arranging smooth jungle safari, all have pleased us. Location of the Motel Chandan is super, appreciable overall.

I recommend to provide WiFi. Flushing in toilet needs to repair.

Location of the Motel Chandan is very near to the gate for safari you can just walk and reach for your morning safari in time and the rooms are big and beautiful also the ambience of the Motel Chandan is great.

Very nice and helpful staff. Mr Dinesh himself is very helpful in guiding about safaris and booking them for you. Food was really good. Proximity to gate is the biggest advantage of this property. Great stay overall.
