Mount Valley - A Secluded Getaway

No proper road access to the resorts, it was dangerous travel from main road to resort. Room also was not good, lost the mood to travel at munnar.

Management, staffs behaviour, food, well hygiene, mainly location everything we had best experience..

Hotel is located in a very beautiful location. It is surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and tea farms.

The location excellent, feeling like leaven, staff is very supportive. Food is ok. overall experience is excellent.

We had a pleasant stay at Mount valley resort. As its name says it is a secluded place away from crowded Munnar town. The room was spacious, neat and well arranged. The manager and room boys are very friendly and caring. We used one additional bed and paid at the resort. We have a few suggestions to improve the overall impression i.e., the road near to the resort is narrower and big potholes and place some sign boards at pivotal points.

Me along with my family stayed stayed at Mount Valley resort for 1 night in August 2025. It was a very good experience for us. First of all the property is at beautiful location with very great nature views. And also secluded from the noise of the town. The rooms are spacious and clean with enough amenities. We booked one Super deluxe and one deluxe rooms. Both of the rooms were excellent. We had dinner at the property. It was very good experience. The staffs were very good mannered. Also there is a children play area. The kids in our group were very happy to play there. Near by the property there is tea plantations. We can walk through tea plantations and have excellent views of a beautiful waterfall,tea plantations, mountains and Valley. Over all the stay was very good and it is a best property for families. The only drawback was the way to the resort from public road. It was a bit off road type in a small part.

We stayed here for 2 days from 15-17 Aug. The view from the balcony is amazing and the service from the resort is courteous and friendly. we got good deal for Jeep Safari for the whole day covering all the nearby attractions..

It's a hidden gem. Great location, top of a hill 1.5 km from the main road. Best part of the stay was the scenic tea gardens and view of the waterfall in just 100 meters walking distance. Enjoyed my time here.

Best place to chill with family and friends and perfect view from Mountvalleyresort and above the church, staff are really nice coffee are nice

The location of the hotel is extremely good. Staff behaviour is good. The room was neat and clean & spacious. There is a buffet in the morning breakfast and it has been good and has lots of variety. The hotel is located 6 Km from the city centre but you can easily reach it within 10 minutes. But remember the track to the hotel from the main road is quite different.

The location was great. In the middle of tea plantations. The host was well behaved. The breakfast was also nice. The rooms were clean.

It has a nice stay, to find a location of a property I face difficulty. Food very good, overall very good

The stay was really good, clean rooms with an amazing view. Food was also good. But the only issue was frequent power cuts. Wish there was a power back up.

Difficult to find the hotel. Room was average only. Bathroom was not clean as expected.But food they provided for dinner and breakfast was nice. It would be better if they arrange rooms for driver.

Excellent room, great service, spectacular view. Just don't book the standard room as the entrance is not so great. Host was very cheerful and cooperative.

Location is very beautiful for the sunrise view. Dinner we ordered that was good but breakfast was not good we did not like it. The room was not that great for the price 7.8k. The room is spacious, but it was not clean.

It was a nice experience and view of munnar city, tea plantation, attakalu waterfall is awesome and mesmerizing. Facility and service all are also good. Receptionist is active and respond quickly. It doesn't have running restaurant so we need to order 1 hours before but all cooked foods are in good cost, delicious and fresh and stay has a restaurant where we can sit and eat. It has some open space for parking. The only thing need to worry is that entrace is too steep and 100 to 200 metre off-road needed to reach the hotel. It also has a play area for kids and sit out. In walking distance you can see waterfall, st. Cannes church and tata tea plantation. Really nice experience.

Place was good and very peaceful... It's a private property type and the owner or caretaker (Babito) speaks English and guides us about the location. Inhouse restuarant available. Place was maintained very hygienic and peaceful view across the mountain.Hot water available 24hrs.
