Mount View

The accommodation was pretty much ok! location was fantastic with views of forest, majestic snow clad peaks n river sind. Mr mire mudassir was extremely courteous n friendly. Food served as a buffet was tasty n satisfying with limited variety every day. Gum boots & raincoats are available on rent. What all could've been improved. 1) a desk with a sitting chair & charging socket 2) an exhaust in the washroom 3) 24-h running hot water (it is timed 6:30 - 10 in morning, 7-10 in the evening) 4) at least 2 bottles of water in every room 5) sachets of kashmiri kahwa, in addition to tea n coffee. 6) more responsive room service all in all, a good, comfortable stay in scenic sonamarg that could've been a lot better with the few additions mentioned

The location is phenomenal. We had a direct view of the snow-capped mountains from multiple windows of our rooms. We had the room on 1st floor. Which if you have a choice, select a higher floor. The cable tv was working and provided good relaxation at the end of wonderful trekking of thajwas glacier. The warm water is from 6 am -11 am and evening from 7pm. The internet was fairly strong. Mudasir mir, our food and beverages manager was very efficient and kind in accommodating special requests such as yoghurt and less spicy food. The breakfast and dinner spread was elaborate, given that we are very high altitude location. Overall, terrific experience!

The Mount View rooms here are good, equipped with heaters and hot water (a must even during summers. The food at the Mount View is fine, better than outside places. There aren't many places outside that you can eat here. This Mount View is usually busy with other tour operators like veena and hence usually serves buffet bfast, lunch, dinner. The Mount Viewiers try to influence you to take the buffet, but it's useless and costly. Instead they take ala carte orders too but you just need to give your order a little in advance. The Mount View staff is very polite and nice. Overall great staying place at a high-mid budget range.

Very good place with cozy and warmer rooms! warm water is available twice a day. Perfectly located at the point from where the pony riders start their excursion to the thajiwas glacier. Even the taxi stand is nearby. Food is delicious and so are the snacks. The only problem is the restaurant is too small to accommodate the large number of guests. The wait time is too much during the breakfast and dinner hours. It would be nice if the Mount View could expand the capacity of the restaurant. But the place is really good and i would strongly recommend it to the visitors. The staff is sincere and hard working.

Located in the heart of sonmarg on main sonmarg srinagar highway, new, neat and clean premises and surroundings, river flowing behind the Mount View, mountain view all around, excellent food, very cooperative and devoted staff except receptionist who was very lazy in completing entry formalities, very good spacious room, nicely ventilated, clean toilets with provision of shampoo, moisturizer and duck white towels, walkable distance from sonmarg market and bus/taxi /ponni/stand, helipad for darshan of baba barfani via baltal panjtarni route only 6 kilometre. Overall pleasant and excellent stay

The best thing about this property was its location. Located right next to the river amid-st the mountains, it gives you breathtaking views from every room. The size of the room was massive and it was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Being a delhite, i wasn’t a big fan of the food but it was still better than a lot of restaurants in the market. The breakfast was good and room service was great too. Staff was really friendly. Almost 3 times the price was the Mount View in front of us which doesn’t even give you any river view rooms. Would definitely book again if i ever visit sonamarg again.

I have stayed here for one night with my family. Majority of Mount Views in this area are good. Especially this one is value for money. Overall - 3. 8 / 5 pros - 1. Electric blanket facility is provided. 2. Electric kettle is available. 3. Good size room with mountain view. Cons - 1. Need to maintain cleanliness of washroom more efficiently 2. Tv set top box and tv electric socket was not working. 3. They have very bad wifi. It will hardly work with very low speed.

Room was good with nice view, but washroom has water drainage problem. I faced room service problem also. I stayed for 02 nights, the next day i kept my room key and told them to clean, but they failed to do that. After complained again then came for cleaning, but then we were in room for take rest. Food was average. Price for regular tea is so high. There is no option for single tea in room service. Staff behaviour was good. Hotel location is good.

Totally a value for money property. Situated in centre of sonamarg offering some great views of mountains specially the great thajiwas glacier. Staff was really helpful and humble in nature. Food was up to the mark so we're the rooms. Overall a great stay.

This place is located at a very scenic place, view is amazing. Staff of this Mount View is cooperative, one of the best Mount View in sonmarg, kashmir.

Location , Hygiene and safety standards were really good, but food quality was average. They were preferring group customers of travel agents as compared to individual customers. But overall experience was good.

We, the couple went tomorrow, in mount view and received warm reception and found excellent stay and excellent view of sonamarg hill through my window in next day morning and found not a single flaw.
