Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort

Recently, i have been to ooty with family on holiday trip in the second week of may 2024 and we (four members) stayed for two days in mountain hill retreat. The selection of mountain hill retreat was based on the other reviews and ratings and i made the reservation for premium cottage through mmt and the tariff was affordable. The stay in the mountain hill retreat was wonderful with its beautiful serenity, excellent view, aesthetically developed accommodations and landscaping, very well maintained property, a cute & simple restaurant, helpful staff and the friendly management. We loved the cottage very much and the cottage was spacious enough to accommodate all of us (four members. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we did not experience any inconvenience. The staff were attentive and responsive. The check-in and check-out process was friendly and quick. As the retreat was nearer to ooty centre comparatively, on the coonoor road, it was comfortable for us to commute to various tourism places around. I felt glad that mountain hill retreat extended necessary assistance to our taxi driver as well, in terms of providing blankets, washrooms, refreshments etc and our driver didn’t report any inconvenience. Overall the stay at mountain hill retreat was great. It was learn t that the property was built in the year 1998 and was good even after 25 year. However, the old furniture in the cottages may have to be replaced with new & modern. Summing up, our stay at mountain hill retreat was wonderful for couple of days to escape from the hot and routine life of hyderabad for a while. Mountain hill retreat deserves better rating. Thanks to the staff and management of mountain hill retreat for the comfortable and memorable stay in ooty.

A pleasant stay just a few km away from Ooty Town. The roads to the Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort are under construction. So, bit delay with light traffic. Reception is at the gate entry and finish your formalities and get the room Key. Parking is at 2 levels above. Room service staff will assist you with your luggage. You will fall in love the moment to step out of your vehicle. A view! Still, love it. Mesmerizing with a great climate. Rooms are equipped with all needs including A small heater which is good enough. In case if you feel a bit warm, get A table fan from reception. The restroom is clean. A wash towel, Bath towels, soap, shampoo, and brush are available. Room is spacious enough for two or three. You can get an additional bed with an extra charge. The restaurant is located at A level above and you can also get the food with room service. Fantastic restaurant with delicious food served with friendly staffs. You can get custom made food as well. South indian, continental and North indian foods all of it are tasty and yummy. There is a room with indoor games and outside of the restaurant outdoor games are available to spend your leisure time. Cabs can be arranged at your convenience. Enjoy your vacation. Have A good time.

One of my perfect stays a second time to this Resort! Its core differentiator is it's an amazing view, treat to your eyes and not being so far from the heart of City! Staff is courteous and prompt enough to carry out your calls. Food is fabulous but can improve more. But I can't ask more giving that the value for money they are providing the Last thing to mention, they are purely professional and care about their guests. We left our expensive Sony headset in our drawer while doing check out. They found it 2 days later and called me up and promised to courier it to my address. Such sort of honesty is lacking these days even in 5-star Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resorts! Hats off to you guys. Will definitely revisit them very soon.

Got a chance of taking 4 days of break from the daily life during sankranti, and we just decided to come to ooty. We didn’t have any Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resorts booked, only after rqching we booked this Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort and it was our first stay here. The view from our room was just eye soothing and the quality of the food was excellent as well. The Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort has plenty of soaces to roam around and enjoy your stay. The road towards the Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort is good and it has ample parking soace as well. In our 4 days we enjoyed a lot and will definitely recommend to couples for a lovely stay experience.

This place is so beautiful and you can have the best scenaric view from this Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Room services and hospitality is so kind and helpful. I had a complimentary breakfast and it was best with more dishes (bread toast, milk, fruits, tea, coffee, dosa, idly, poori, boiled egg, vada. They have a recreation room with all indoor games. The rooms are built like italy homes and they maintain it very well. You can have a beautiful day inside this property with your family and for couples. Campfire is available and it's kept in a beautiful location in the property

We travel-led in late october and weather was just right, not very cold. Property is well maintained and easy to reach. Room service is good. Complementary breakfast was good, quality food with good service. Room was neat and clean. Ooty is a great place but the local people here are very backwards and not good. If you are a north indian or kanadiga they will not treat you well charge more for anything you buy. They are charging anything for parking, in tibetan market, they charged 80 rupees, that's ridiculous. Thank god, property experience was good, otherwise it would have been a very bad experience. Overall it was a good trip.

The resort is situated at a very good location. Most of the attractions are within half an hour distance. The valley view from my room's window was amazing and the weather complimented it well. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Restaurant doesn't have much variety but the food was delicious. We tried almost all the vegetarian dishes during our 4 day stay and i must say that all of them were great in taste. The place had many small snakes in the garden areas but nothing scary as such. Only disappointment was bonfire activity which they told would be done every evening but wasn't done.

We enjoyed a lot and the beautiful scenery from resort made our one stay as beautiful as it can be. The entire we explored resort and enjoyed weather and scenery from resort but still feels not leaving it soon. Food was so delicious especially complimentary breakfast was so good i have not ate that delicious food in any hill station it feels like home food i recommend everyone to go ahead and enjoy your stay without thinking twice. We had a deluxe room which was so great but we did not have any scenery from our room but still we can come out of resort enjoy the view

It was really nice resort with landscape view. The food was nice. The staff was also very courteous. It could have been better if all rooms has view. Otherwise if you get a room with no view then you have to come out of room every time you want to enjoy the view. At the time of booking i wasn’t aware of this.

Resort is situated at a km from a prime locality at the same time scenic and quiet place. It is maintained very clean. Staffs are very nice and customer friendly. Food was awesome and homelike food.

My first trip to ooty for honeymoon. I think Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort price is reasonable. Food was very tasty and hygiene. Service also humble and good. Location of this resort is amazing and really enjoyed the view and ambience of that room.

Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort is good food quality was great ..and staff is very supportive asked cold drink they arranged in heavy rain (dint knew raining.)......Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort arranges.....outing car at cheap price 2280 JUST BE Patience FOR HOT WATER BATH. TAKE 20 MIN FOR HOT WATER BATH..as water is like frozen lake water due to temp .....rest alll was awesome. (rooms are hygienic/ tv working/ wifi not in washroom use in bedroom area) nice trip and a nice Mountain Retreat - A Hill Country Resort♥️♥️♥️
