If you are someone looking to get away from the city hustle, then this place is situated a little away from the main ooty town on the side of a hill in the lap of greenery. There is ample parking available of you're driving. Even though the parking is on the side of the ooty-kotagiri hey, it is safe, lit and covered by cctv. The rooms are good and spacious and with a brilliant view of the kothi valley, coonoor is a distance. At night when the lights come on in the far valley the view is mesmerizing. Some fittings in the rooms need maintenance/replacement, but none of that is a "deal breaker. Overall rooms are clean and well kept. The property is small, just 8 rooms but very well maintained. Plus side is being just 8 rooms one has peace and quiet while on the property itself. Beautiful and manicured flora and fauna are all over the property. The property is placed very near to 2 tourist points. Doddabeta peak and tea and chocolate museum. There is also tea gardens just beside the property where guests are free to roam. The lunch and dinner were decent in portion and quality. The breakfast spread was good but could do wt a bit more variety. The caretakers and property managers there- reena ma'am, pradeep, nitesh were amazing. They helped out with all queries and info. If u need a cab too they will get one for you for local transport n sight seeing. You just need to let them know in advance. Overall a very relaxing stay with good people taking care of you.

We went to celebrate a special day and he arranged for everything that we asked for well and good quality. Reena was very kind and ensured our stay was comfortable we booked two rooms in the property but each room had issues. Toilet flush and faucet was broken in one room, while in the other room the pillow covers were dirty. I believe they have shortage of staff due to which service was slow. But, nitesh really was trying to be on top of his toes and tried to cater to us well. Breakfast was decent enough, but you cannot order any food or even snacks but if its beyond food hours, especially coffee which is not served when asked as they mention that kitchen is closed. There were no kettles or coffee sachets in the room to make it ourselves. We wanted to take a dip in the pool but it was dirty.

The food at the Mountain Trails | Rooms in a Pool Villa's restaurant was very tasty. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The room service was prompt and efficient with friendly staff, nithish is taking care of us all the time his prompt service was very efficient, polite and friendly. Overall, my stay at the mountain trail Mountain Trails | Rooms in a Pool Villa was an absolute delight! the perfect blend of natural beauty, delicious food, and exceptional service made for an unforgettable experience. We (me & my wife) really had an amazing time at mountain trails resort. It is such a beautiful resort. The view is not limited to just few rooms, every room has got amazing view. You can see the whole of conoor and coimbatore from your room at mountain trails. The room was clean well lit, tidy and well arranged. The food was also really delicious. Room service was excellent. Mr. Pradeep was the person who attended our room and he was at our service 24x7. And ms. Reenu’s hospitality was also great. Every room has got enough privacy too. Ample of parking also is available. The resort also has got a pool. Doddabetta peak is the nearest tourist spot and other must see places aren’t far away at all. So the location of the resort is just perfect. As it is a bit away from town, our stay was perfect with a silent ambiance and privacy. Really we had a peaceful stay, enjoyimg the nature, view, ambience, hospitality everything.

We had a great stay! the staff is very helpful and polite, especially nithish. Once we saw the view from the rooms, we were sold on the location. The rooms in general are well maintained but may need a little refurbishment - not at all a dealbreaker as they are well equipped with tv, geyser and the wifi is really good. The swimming pool and garden area is also well maintained and a nice place to hang out and watch the sun set over the mountains. The food options, although limited, are very tasty and simple which is good for people who have trouble with spicy food. We enjoyed the breakfast which fuel-led us up for the days’s excursions. The Mountain Trails | Rooms in a Pool Villa is 20 mins away from the city which is great because you escape all the hustle and bustle from the influx of tourists. The drive on its own is worth it! we had a great stay and would visit again for sure!

It's my second time stay at this property. I had stated here in december 2022, and this place won my heart, with its pristine location and not to say abut the beautiful rooms. The property is located far away from the regular hustle of the ooty city. The rooms overlook a vast tea plantation and believe me the greenery around will make you fall for it. No wonder why i decided to stay here once again. The caretaker mr. Pradeep was as helpful as he could be, he catered to all our needs and was available at a call. The food was good as well. Considering the fact that this place is located far from the city, having wonderful food made to your order is a blessing. Over all it is one of the best resorts i have stayed in.

Best place to relax your mind. Pros : The view from our room infact every room is so beautiful. Neatness 3/5. Staff are so good and anytime are available to help. Breakfast is too good. Snacks n dinner also available. At 7 they come to tale order for dinner. Hot water is available anytime. You feel like extending your stay.. Cons: Early morning coffee n tea should be offered. Since it's so cold. Doors should be little more safeguarded. The quilt blanket shud be properly stitched. Seriously the great stay. Love the view. Best place for photoshoot too. To the owner: love ❤️ Maintain the neatness even more. Do not loose the maintainence. Great work. Nitesh (staff) doing great job.. he should be encouraged.

The stay was nice, my daughter loved the place the view is excellent. Even in summers you will have fog and clouds over you. They have their own tea estate as well, you can visit that, it is next to estate. The basic amenities are well taken care of. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and exquisite. I have a small complaint though, the breakfast will not be available before 8;30, so if you will have breakfast and leave on last day, you will be stuck in ooty city, if going through the city. Otherwise, things were good and i liked everything at this place. The place is small though, however nothing to complain about.

Our stay at mountain trails was absolutely delightful! from the warm and welcoming check-in experience to the clean and comfortable room, everything exceeded our expectations. The staff members specially rakshith and reena were friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our stay was perfect. The amenities were top-notch, the view was exemplary, but the food at the restaurant was just ok and could improve. The overall atmosphere of the Mountain Trails | Rooms in a Pool Villa was relaxing and inviting. Thank you for a truly amazing experience!

I had book stay for two days and i must say the property is amazing with the mountain views and the property rooms with beautiful gardens. Owner reena is so welcoming from the point you meet her at reception and she will take care of your comfortable stay. Property is near by to main bus stand and you can come by city buses. Pradeep was assigned as our care take and he was on point with his instant services. It was a great and comfortable stay with mind blowing views and this is second time i visited this property. You can give a try and you will not be disappointed.

This was an awesome trip overall. The stay is wonderful with a mesmerizing view from the room. Rakshith was excellent in handling things and was ready every time if any things required.
