Mountain Villa I Guided Treks & Caretaker

It was a great experience. The caretaker was very nice. Food was delicious and everything was organized very smoothly. Will definitely recommend.

We stayed in the planters annexe cottage and it was absolutely lovely. It's very aesthetically pleasing. The room and the bathroom was quite spacious and clean with all basic amenities. The staff was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed, which made us comfortable. The food prepared locally was delicious. And for the location, it's on top of the hills with stunning views that you just can't get enough of. I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to relax in nature's lap.

Excellent stay far from puzzle of the town. The views are incredible and are quite private. The staff were courteous and helpful. Since it is far from vagamon town, going to town or other places in vagamon is not possible. In fact I will suggest you to chose this stay if you want enjoy two days away from rush of life, enjoy a tranquil atmosphere with scenic views. You yourself can explore the property. The owners have done justice to the nature and maintained it well. Might visit again.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the wooden cottage offered here. We really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff especially Emmanuel who gave us the four wheel drive to the property explaining about the surroundings. The food provided was also excellent and tasty. Highly recommended!

Had an amazing 2-night stay at Mountain Villa Resort in Vagamon! The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by nature's serene beauty and stunning scenic views. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch – truly made us feel at home. A perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

The stay was excellent. Staff was very very friendly and felt like we visited our relatives. View was stunning and no words can explain that. You must experience it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful experience and an escape from busy day to day life.

Where Kerela is known as God's own country, this serene and mesmerizing stay should be God's heavenly abode. Such a picturesque and beautiful location atop the mountain through a beautiful scenic route with top notch hygiene and hospitality. It's such a beautiful property and few words cannot be enough to justify how much we loved staying here! The rooms were maintained so neat and tidy with special areas which give you breathtaking views, the dining hall was so nice and the food was finger licking good. The hosts Sunita and Alex are such warm and lovely people who greeted us so nicely. I am very much thankful to them to accomodate my special requests as well. It was lovely meeting you guys! The chefs Madaswami ji and Lebin prepared such delicious and authentic Kerala style food and treated us just like family and Jayakrishnan also helped us a lot to reach the property nicely and showing around. We had the best day here during our 7 day Kerala trip and I am truly grateful to all of these people for such an amazing experience. More than a stay, it felt like home. Would definitely visit you guys once again whenever I come back to Kerala. Thankyou very much!

This is one of those unique experiences, very beautiful property. Definitely a thumbs up for the way it is managed. Beautuful views all around. You can spend time walking and discovering the place. There are benches to sit at many places which is really nice. There is limited staff of 3-4 people, all are really nice, humble and helpful. Veg platter and breakfast was really good. The last few kms to the property can only be accessed with their jeep or 4wh drive cars. In the night its all into the clouds. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Beautiful location and very cordial staff. The food was exceptional. A very tough terrain to reach the resort, where only 4 wheel drive is possible.

Came across this property accidentally while searching for vagamon accommodation. A lil cottage in the hills with some real rustic charm. Less crowded hideout ( since there are only 3 cottages. We loved the homely food they prepared. We’ll be back again

This property is in complete remote location. But it is really awesome. For sure everyone who visits here will have a peaceful stay. Loved it

Reaching the property was easy, it was in a good location. The room was very nice and comfortable. The whole property was very neat and clean. I got all the basic facilities that I needed. The caretaker was very nice and helpful. Surely going to recommend this property to others.

Actually it was a heavenly feeling out there. Enjoyed the scenic beauty of Vagamon and the cozy bamboo cottage. The interior designing should be very much appreciated and the creative ideas in the cottage made a blissful atmosphere. The cottage was really an epitome of creativity and the area is totally romantic. There is no mobile signal for BSNL and v one so I enjoyed complete peace. Around 3 km off Road from turkish mala ashram, the hotel management will provide you safe parking of your vehicle near turkish mala and will take you to the resort in their jeep and drop you back after the check-out. The food prepared by the Mohan Cheattan was very tasty. Thus we had freshly prepared and homely food. Other staffs were also behaved cordially and showed special care. Anyway I strongly recommend this cute villa who look for peace.

The location was so beautiful. The host was very nice. Food was also very good. I will recommend it to one who doesn't afraid of insects because insects are there, due to its location. The property was in the middle of the forest.

Such a cute little hide out place on top of a Mountain. It's a hidden treasure and it was real hard work to get my better half out of this place as she was not ready to leave the place. It's best place to catch the sunset, enjoy the views of many districts from top. You have a dedicated cook also. Although cost is on higher end, they will need that to maintain the facilities in such a tough location. Access to location is only through jeep and we can park our car in their other property down the mountain.

It was a pleasant stay at the end of the world. Those who want to have complete peace and isolated from the hustle and bustle of the City life.

The stay at Mountain Villa was delightful. It is suitable for anyone looking for a quick getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It takes a 4*4 drive to reach the location from Kurishumala, where we dropped our vehicle. The transit and food were taken care by the manager and in house cook, against a bill. The view from the cottage is absolutely stunning and there are a couple of hideouts in and around the place, where one can immerse in the beauty and picturesque view of the hills.
