Mountaineers Homestay | Mountain-view Rooms

Overall this homestay is an okayish property to stay at. If you are traveling with your family ensure that you book deluxe rooms. The normal budget rooms are way too small for even two people to stay. The location is a little bit difficult to find and steeply downhill, so won't recommend if you are traveling with parents. Luckily, the host and all staff members were immensely helpful and the food is good. Overall experience was good.

The stay was excellent. the host and staff were very cooperative. went out of the way to assist as well as follow up on our well being. would recommend that you can even stay with your family. The host Shambu was super helpful with the stay, food as well as guiding on local travel and places to visit. all in all a great stay experience.

Quality of room was good, amenities provided 1 liter of mineral water, soap, shampoo, sanitizer, toothpaste, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer sachet, electric kettle. Wifi speed was very good but tv was not there. Most importantly the view from the room and balcony was breathtaking. Overall a memorable stay in darjeeling.

Mountaineers homestay is located a little downside of mall. Staffs are well behaved and friendly. They made us feel like home. Food given here are well cooked. They arranged cab for our sightseeing. The stay was comfortable overall

The view is absolutely breathtaking. Car doesn't reach the property so you need to walk enough around 10-15 minutes from bhanu bhaban taxi stand. Backpacks will be convenient than trolleys.

The property is really good, if you book deluxe one, you ll have a spacious room with balcony worth watching for. The host is also really good. We had a lovely time.

Little bit away from the mall and you need to walk (around 8-10 minutes) that road. Otherwise the room, food and most importantly the view is very good.

Location was bit off-road but very peaceful and cozy. Host was very friendly and amenities were good.
