The staff at Sagaun Hotel was excellent, the food was decent, and the behavior of the manager and staff was commendable. It’s a good place in terms of ambiance, and you can visit nearby temples like Salkanpur and Bhojpur etc. Tourists can explore the ancient rock-cut caves and stupas of Saru Maru from the Bodh period. Additionally, the Delawadi Gate of Ratapani Tiger Reserve is close to this hotel, enjoy forest greenery and other excursion here also. Worth a short 2–3 day visit.

It was a terrible experience when the room call bell rang at 3 am mid night. It was scary. It happened thrice. Although we did not open the door and called reception. The person at reception took it casually.

Food was OK. Location is good. Facilities are not good since there was a lot of power cuts. ACs of majority of rooms are not connected with the generator. So we have to suffer a lot in this season when day temperature is very high.

I had an excellent experience during my stay. The staff was highly professional, always courteous and ready to assist with any request. Comfortable stay, nice jungle ambience, rooms are well appointed and clean as all the mp tourism properties are. Slow service is the only problem otherwise staff is courteous and eager to help. Phone signal is a problem but wifi provided by the hotel works fine. One can take a trip to salkanpur devi temple nearby (12kms) or take morning and evening jungle safari to ratapani tiger reserve with a nice trek to hidden ginnour garh fort of rani kamlapati

That was my second stay at Sagoun rt. Great place for nature & peace lovers. Location, in the jungles of Ratapani, is fantastic. Food, both veg & non-veg is very delicious… rooms have all the basic amenities with proper Wi-Fi. Staff is quite courteous & humble. I recommend at least one day stay 👍

No amenities, no indoor games, no pool aur sitting area, no toiletries in washroom, no food after 8:30, no wi-fi…. even electricity cut multiple times. All u get is a room and a restaurant.

Need to literally work on food and service

We went in total 3married couples took 3rooms. Pros: location is nice as per budget room quality and cleanliness is good cons: a lot many. Before booking i called the premises and asked nonveg availability, after we reached they said only curry is available, no fastfood. The manager bhaiyalal is very typical and not cooperative. No food available after 9pm. We were informed at 8:30pm. Quality of food, taste is 5/10rating. We smoked in room while check-out again bhaiyalal tried to poke, telling unnecessary things that smoking is not allowed(written no where in the room and told while checkin) mp tourism needs to work hard on service and training of staff.
