This resort’s location is amazing and it’s a resort to relax amid-st forest. Calm quiet and peaceful place with efficient staff. Quality of linen, towels, toilet paper and hot water availability is top notch. Clean bathrooms and it’s fittings are a big plus. Rooms are spacious and well lit with enough charging points. Big balconies are attached with rooms. Although interiors need to be renovated big time. We travel-led from indore and had no problems locating the resort as we could find signboards all through. Staff at resort could be contacted if facing problems locating resort. Inf-act we received a call on the day of check in to make sure we reach without trouble. Open gym & cycles (free to use, banana ride, boats rides, water scooter are available on payment basis. One can enjoy nature walk and can do fishing too. One can play indoor games and badminton also. Food is very tasty but with limited variety. They also offer one non veg dish in lunch and dinner. They try and fulfill specific requests regarding food. It’s on hillside so if traveling with people who have trouble climbing stairs, check with resort administrators if they could make any arrangements.

The resort is located on an island surrounded by water of the omkareshwar dam all around it. The location is great for a short retreat from the regular busy schedule of the city life. The room and the associated facilities are good, and the food is also good. There are options for indoor sports and open air gym. Children will enjoy the open spaces to pay around. However, there are a few serious problems in this property. Especially for seniors like me who have problems climbing stairs and uphill. The property is not invalid friendly. It is not possible for a wheelchair bound person to visit it. There are no ramps. The jetty for boarding the boat to reach/leave the resort is also not senior friendly. In medical emergency situation it may be a serious problem. However, despite all these limitations, this is a unique place within nature especially for younger generation and physically active seniors.

It was an excellent one night stay at sailani island jungle resort which is unique in it’s own as there is only one island out of nearby 65 islands has resort which is mp t sailani island resort. The travel from indore to sailani island resort was amazing through jungle and last 2. 6 km road is not constructed being in forest area. The boat received us and took to the resort which has narmada river all around resort. We were allotted room. All the rooms have river view. The rooms are too big with all the amenities even the bathroom is very big 14 ft by 6ft. The food served during lunch, dinner and breakfast next day was delicious and had variety of veg & nonvegetarian. The staff and service are excellent. One must stay for a night and even can be clubbed with visit to omkareshwar temple in the morning and stay for a night at mp t sailani island resort for an ultimate experience.

Although its mentioned that resort in omkareshwar but it is actually 40 km road distance from omkareshwar temple as dam bridge is not accessible without permission in ordinary situation, so one has to take route from barwaha in the designated jungle area for around15 km( prefer to reach by evening 5 pm. Last 3 km is typical offroading experience to reach parking of resort, from the parking guest are taken to resort by boat. So reaching the destination itself will give new kind of experience. Resort ambience is good, food is exceptionally awesome, water sport is also good. This is the must visit property of mp t in monsoon or winter, bit planning require for route as i earlier mentioned one false sign board from omkareshwar which is tentative boat route not yet opened.

The place is miles away from hustle and bustle of city. Extremely peaceful, very clean, spread over large area, every section of the resort - room stays, playing area, water sports area, restaurant etc are at comfortable distance from each other, so you never see crowd here. The staff is very cooperative and never disturbs you overdoing there hospitality or overselling other things. Every extra feature or ammenity is at a decent price, not like other resorts. The major highlight of the place is - water sports. The only place in central india where you will get this - banana ride, jet ski and scuba diving.

For all those "jurassic park" afficionados, this place is paradise. You shall reach it via a densely forested stretch of road, followed by 2. 5 kms of offroading and then park your vehicle to be carried by a motorboat to the scenic island tucked in the holy narmada river. The staff greets you warmly, rooms are big & beautiful, food is buffet style, a host of watersports activities are doable, followed by jungle trek, finally dinner and rest. Wake up the next morning for a royal breakfast spread, pack your bags and whizz off back to work/home.

Just when the horrible approach-road of around 2.5 kms makes you think that you made a blunder by booking this MPT Sailani Island Resort, Sailani Island, you arrive at the jetty and the boat-ride and final destination prompt you to revise your opinion. Thereafter, the room, the service and, to some extent, food ( which woefully lacks variety and quality) make your stay a wonderful experience. One is left wanting to stay longer and enjoy the nature and the excellent hospitality of the staff. an experience that I keenly look forward to relive.

Badly maintained. Toilets stink. Entire property could be better maintained/managed! the location was fantastic! that's the only reasons for our stay there! tariff is exorbitant.

It was really an amazing place and well maintained. Rooms were clean. Food quality is too good. The staff was well mannered and helpful. We really enjoyed the stay there with beautiful and peaceful view of narmada river.

Room was really good and spacious food was very testy. But no much varieties. No starters and for children.

L just loved the place. It was totally lovable. Every thing was just much much above than what l expected. Staff was very courteous and the food was very tasty. I asked for zero mirchi food for my elder sisters and they served it happily. Rooms were spacious and clean. One thing i wish to suggest that they should make some arrangements for the drivers to stay
