MTDC Fardapur

Mtdc fardapur is a beautiful resort. Stay was comfortable and the food quality was good. I have few few suggestions though - 1. They should start room service or atleast serve tea in the rooms. At present they don't serve anything in the room. You will have to go to the canteen for anything you want to eat or drink including tea. 2. Most importantly they should be more vigilant about the cleanliness of their toilet commodes. They are not properly cleaned. Thanks. Mtdc fardapur is a beautiful resort. We stayed in MTDC fardapur for 1 night(APR 1st week) in non-AC room, it was new Building room was spacious, clean. Towels and Soap were provided. There are no other decent MTDC Fardapurs in vicinity to the Ajanta Caves. Had dinner at restaurant in premises, Food pricing and taste was value for money. Overall the best accomodation one can get near remote Ajanta caves, the property is about 10 mins in car to the caves.

The location is excellent. It's on the highway but surrounded by natural beauty. If you are a nature lover, then it's for you. Don't expect sophisticate welcome & dining but you will get warmth of human purity.

I always liked the state governments resorts they are placed at very good location. We were here just for an overnight stay, the staff was very cooperative very polite and the restaurant is also great.

The non-ac room I booked was new, and pretty spacious for a single traveller. Dining room is clean, and the service is pretty good along with complimentary breakfast. All in all, a satisfying stay.

It was a pleasant stay. The people are very hospitable and rooms are cozy. The place is scenic and very close to the entry for ajanta making it convenient to reach there early and beat the crowds.

It is near ajanta caves. Food is warm & fresh, not very cheap but reasonable. Breakfast was complementary. Room & bathroom are very spacious, clean. Hot water available.
