MTDC Harihareshwar

I recently stayed at MTDC Resort, and I have to say, the location is just fantastic! Being right by the beach made my stay incredibly special. The property is large, giving a great sense of space and freedom. Parking was open but had ample space, which was a nice touch. The food was a highlight of my stay. I especially enjoyed the fish thali, which was delicious. Breakfast was decent with portions that were more than I expected. I highly recommend trying the local Indian food here; it adds an authentic touch to the experience. The amenities were also good—hot water was readily available, the mini-fridge was working perfectly, and the TV had a sufficient number of channels to keep me entertained. The staff were extremely helpful and displayed good behavior throughout my stay, which made me feel very welcome. Another great feature is the proximity to the Harihareshwar Temple, which is just a 10-minute walk away. This made it easy for me to explore the local culture and spirituality. The only downside was that the property could use some maintenance and repairs. While this didn’t affect my stay much, it did detract a bit from the overall aesthetics and beauty of the place. Despite this minor issue, my experience at MTDC Resort was truly enjoyable. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to relax and unwind by the beach, with good food, excellent service, and easy access to local attractions.

They have given us a nice warm welcome and the check-in process was smooth. The location of the MTDC Harihareshwar is perfect as it is at the spot where the river savitri meets the arabian sea. The room we booked was perfect as it has an amazing sea view. It was also well maintained, spacious, neat and tidy. We being vegetarian, there were limited options for food but the food tasted ok and they maintained hygiene in the kitchen. However, the road inside the resort is not good and also there is some lac in the infrastructure. There is not facility to contact receiption from the room. There are many view points within the resort premises but there is no proper signage or information about them. Suggestions: if there were good roads inside the MTDC Harihareshwar, it would be good. The management inside the food court could be a little better. With some slight improvements, this place would be safe and secure and highly recommended for solo travellers, ladies and families. It is also pocket friendly.

Property location is awesome. Property common areas like garden, roads, seating area is not maintained. Rooms are good and maintained with all basic facilities like tv, ac, geyser except for intercom, hair dryer and tea coffee complements. I stayed in premium sea view suite. Restaurant is operational only for limited time and have limited food menu. Also their is no airtel network and MTDC Harihareshwar dont have wi-fi. I would recommend this to travellers who are looking for peaceful place, want to detox their routine life and are minimalist.

The location is simply amazing. It has a private beach of its own. We went in the olive ridley turtles hatching season. Sobodh from harihareshwar village and sujay from mtdc were extremely helpful in showing us the hatchlings walking into the sea. The entire staff is very helpful and have been around for 20-25 yrs. The place looks like it needs a makeover. Grossly underestimated though. Will visit again.

The location of the property is very prime and sits at the confluence of river savitri and arabian sea. There are 3 categories of rooms, normal, sea view cottage and premium suite. Sea view cottages and premium suites have a sea view whereas the other room is slightly distant. Their in house restaurant has a variety of sea food options. This property is a paradise for bird watching

The resort is ok. Advisable to go for higher category rooms. There is no network except jio. Also there is no wifi at the resort. There is no network in the entire town other than that of jio. We were left without any contact outside for 24 hours! food is great especially if you are a sea food lover. It’s a small place so one should keep expectations straight!

Hotel is on sea side. Cottages are old but beautiful. Premium rooms are sea facing. Location is beautiful. This MTDC Harihareshwar gives feel of big resort. Food is authentic. Few things to be noted, just for information for travelers- cottages are located on distance, no room service but was totally fine. Menu is limited. No wifi. No airtel network.

Excellent location, Cottages were really good with AC and nice sea view. Restaurant food was good though limited options. The cottages were damaged in cyclone and being govt property, they haven’t maintained it after that. Only 3-4 cottages are maintained and some other rooms. If they maintain well, it’s absolute gem. Hope Govt pays attention to it.

The stay was good. Food was excellent. The exterior of the room needs maintenance. But the location is good.

I booked 2 rooms for my family with non ac the environment is so pleasant that you do not need ac. Stay is good you get large spacious room with balcony and trees around. Place must be heaven in rainy season. The canteen in away but has very beautiful view and enjoy your meal

Nice location, great experience and very helpful staff. Food was good but very limited options in breakfast. Overall very nice experience. They should have given a play area for the kids as there is nothing for kids.

Property lication is very nice. Nice rooms an its cleanness. All staff is police and helpful. Food was very testy both veg and nonvej. All rooms are seaview except nearby reception rooms.

Executive ac rooms are decent and clean. Very spacious and cooperating staff. Restaurant is also well maintained in terms of hygiene but runs on a little costlier side. Overall a good experience to stay in.

The sea view cottages are good however a lot of. Maintenace is work is required. Nobody attended us for small things they expect guests to visit the kitchen. No landlines phones in the rooms.

Mtdc harihareshwar is the best place for vacation. Who wants to relax from our daily routine. We stay at a premium sea view room.

Resort is located at serene rocky beach in hill footstep. Amazing sea view with good food option. Room infrastructure need improvement
