MTDC Tarkarli

I visited mtdc tarkarli in may 2024. The property is at the beach. You can see the beach and the waves from almost every room's verandah. The beach is clean and has sparse crowds making it a perfect place to enjoy. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Wash rooms too are hygienic and clean the food takes time to arrive but had variety is tasty. The staff told that the do not keep any pure cooked items and prefer to cook for each guest after they have a firm order. The checkout time is a hassle of you are taking the train back. Tejas, vande bharat etc are all in the afternoon and the check out time of 8 am makes things very uncomfortable during peak season.

The location is the best for what i liked the place for. Everything you need is in front of you (if you are a beach lover. The rooms are spacious enough. The property is extensive so every room is good enough to enjoy the sea view from the windows. The property is not well maintained as usual. Taps broken. Drawer broken. Fan not working. However we managed to stay as we were out exploring the city. The room was only needed to rest for the night. Breakfast was not as good as mtdc matheran. Just basic poha and misal with slice bread which is usually complimentary with stay so the quality is not taken care off.

Beautiful property and decent amenities provided. Resort just right on tarkarli beach and you get stunning sunset view from all the rooms. Staff is very polite and friendly. In-house restaurant is amazing. Serving very tasty food both veg and non-veg. It just relieve you from hunt for your food. Compared to other properties in the area this definitely has premium feel. Overall great place for family vacation. Just suggestion to the mtdc : since you have good footfall here i feel room interior can be renovated which would make guests experience more delightful.

The staff is cooperative. They give opinions on places around and also in case you are coming by train. They help arrange autos. With regards the place. Mtdc is well maintained. And the views are stunning. The restaurant has menu which is is not extensive but they have a menu which can serve the purpose. Meal orders are to be given early as they cook fresh. Customisation in meals possible due to this which is the good part for senior citizens and ppl who like more of home cooked meals. Overall great place

The overall experience was excellent. The property is well maintained. The staff is very flexible. The location of the property so convenient that you literally are leaving next to the beach. The facilities of the room are beyond words. All the small things like automatic room freshener, mosquito repellent (good night) and mini freeze, hair dryer etc are so important for a beach stay. These are available in the room. The food options are also good and the beach is very clean and less crowded.

Undoubtedly the best resort of tarkarli. Stunning view all day. Cleanest beach. Water sports and back water can be done at nearby places such as tsunami island. At this whole place considering tarkarli as well as malvan, you won't get best vegetarian food. You will have to compromise on taste and options you get here. So if you decide to come here make up your mind to enjoy the view, water sports, scuba diving etc but do not expect you will get best of the cuisine. It is just bearable.

Visited malvan for 3 days. Tarkarli beach is very clean, less crowded. Suba diving at tarkarli is better compared to sindhdurg. Even water sports at tarkarli is good, many choices for all age groups. Roads are narrow driving is little stressful. Over all good place to spend with family. Very economical too. Visited sindhdurg, very historic, good place to visit in the evening 4 to 6 pm. Please take the guide inside the fort. Malvan streets are good, people are friendly and harmonious.

Location : 100/100 (resort is just next to beach, few steps away from beach, you can enjoy sunset with tea, Kanda bhaji, sound of waives... It was good experience) Service : 100/100 (Resort staffs are polite, ready to support) Food : 50/100 need much improvement in food quality, also it is over priced Amenities : lot of opportunities to improve resort amenities like childerns play area, sitting areas etc, path lights Rooms : 100/100 Neat & clean

Awesome Experience. It can get if few small things like 1. Room Service 2. Tea making essential 3. Extension or paid few additional hours to check if Hotel is not completely booked

Best resort in tarkarli. Huge mtdc property with serene look. Well maintained with good connectivity. Food can be improved. Tried ghavana chatani, pohe, both dishes were best.

Stunning location, just beside tarkarli beach. Rooms are well maintained with good amenities and clean surroundings. Staff is polite, yet can improve on speed of service. Overall an awesome experience.

Breakfast was limited rooms were good but bed were old

It was a very good experience here in mtdc tarkarli beach resort, it is more like a private beach experience, liked their concept of konkani hut styled cottages, rooms were clean recommend for all the traveller who would like to experience the beauty of konkan and sindhudurg.

We deliberately selected mtdc tarkarli as our destination for monsoon trip. Objective was to witness rain and sea. We were happy about an arrangement from the MTDC Tarkarli. Despite an off season, we received decent service and support from MTDC Tarkarli staff.

Rooms are surprisingly better compared to our experience in velaneshwar ( worst. The location is fantastic, right on the beach. Staff has been very helpful food quality and options need to be improved drastically. Ratings will certainly improve from good to great.
