Maugham Resort is right on the main road of Chandanwari. The rooms are neat, clean and a great value for money. It is at 3-4 km distance from Betaab Valley. So you can easily trek/hike till the valley. The view from the room is breathtaking. One of the partners of the resort also cooks delicious Kashmiri food on request.

Although the Mughal Resort is good it took me quite a long time to search as there was no internet connection in Pahalgam and the number given in for the resort is not working. The stay was good and service was also good.. Value for money.

Ambiance is good. Service is also ok. Liked the stay. Hot water is a bit issue as they don’t have heater and warm the water through boilers but overall good experience
