Munnar Tea Hills Resort

Hello everyone. Prons: We stayed at Munnar Tea Country Resort in family cottages for three night four days. It was really a great experience. The staff of the Munnar Tea Hills Resort is so friendly I can't tell you in words. They were eager to help. Food was just awesome and price are also less compare to other resorts. Breakfast was also awesome because it was mixture of North Indian and South Indian dishes. Every dish was fantastic. Resort maintain the greenery very well. It is six kilometer away from city so you need transport to hang around in the Munnar. If you want to go with jeep safari they also provide that. I also did spa that was also good. The best thing of the resort was morning walk with Philips. It was really great experience. He will tell you about the spices and different kind of trees available in the city. It is really helpful for school going kids so if you are planning to stay in Munnar so try to make one morning walk with Philip. He will take you the tea garden and show you different spices on the way. He has great knowledge of plant and he also know the history of trees. Cons: If you are planing to go with small kid then there are stairs in some rooms. It up to you. Thank you Munnar Tea Country Resort for making our stay fabulous.

This resort is the best resort I've ever stayed in. The staff made sure that we reach there correctly by informing us of the exact location by contacting us beforehand. The check-in process is very hassle free. The valley view rooms are beautiful duplex rooms with everything you need for your short stay. The view from either the front of the cottage or your private balcony is awesome. The rooms are well kept and neatly managed. The surroundings are well cleaned and filled with beautiful flowers and perfect for your photos and selfies. The restaurant is worth mentioning. Even though the prices are a little bit high, the quality of service and the qunatity of food you're having is very high. Even the free breakfast is a great feast with multiple varieties of buffet-style foods varying from local puttu and puri to western pancakes and maple syrup. I would definitely suggest Munnar tea country resort to friends and family and this will be my first choice next time I Visit Munnar.

We stayed at the Munnar Tea Hills Resort from 22 Jan 2020 to 25 Jan 2020. The staff at the Munnar Tea Hills Resort is superb, they make feel like home and great hospitality. The Restaurent is having excellent food quality and service with lot of options for vegetarians as well. The view from the balcony was awesome you could see the entire valley and the restaurant also had a panoramic views. Overall experience was excellent and a must recommend for the people visiting Munnar. Only difficulty is that you should have a hired vehicle or own vehicle with you since the cab service offered by the Munnar Tea Hills Resort is on a bit costlier Side. But it is worth visiting the place and even if you have to shell extra bucks for the taxi do it.

I booked family cottage at tea hill resort. I must say very spacious rooms with clean and hygeine. Tea hill is located around ~15 km away from munnar city towards anchal. So the surrounding is very calm and free from noise and if you don't want to go out and stay at resort that also fine. Restaurant dinning area is little bit clumsy. I guess it can accommodate ~50 pax at a time. In breakfast, there are many varieties, i loved it. But in dinner, i didn't get much options, so not so happy. Resort needs renovation for sure. Small small changes required at many places. But must say worth the stay at tea hill.

On a first time visit with a lot of expectations reached a green paradise. Great sumptuous food, lovely hospitality and a welcoming attitude made my stay of five days a memorable experience. It was a bit disappointing that though the housekeeping staff, kitchen staff and front reception were very very efficient and courteous, one could not but see that they were grossly understaffed. Well maintained property, good meals and greenery in all its splendor made for a wonderful stay. Thank you everyone.

We liked the location and property very much. Got valley view rooms and nature is awesome. Food is average for 4 star property and price we paid. Not much options and quality is average in breakfast. We left for roaming without providing the room key thinking they have common keys to open and clean the rooms. But they didn't and we have to get it once we back late in the evening and that was limited clean and not regular one. Apart from it was good stay with the family.

It's a better place for a one night stay, the staff in the resort are warm and welcoming however could have provided a better food menu. Tv is placed in the resort but not recharged could be of cost cutting reason, and wifi password is not shared while check-in but havent asked for it but they should have given after the check-in formality, they shouldn't wait for a request to share the wifi password. Have a scenic view from the resort which is good.

The room & washroom was very neat & clean. The staff was very helpful n generous. We travel-led with an infant & unfortunately the baby got sick but they helped us in odd hours to reach the doctor which was a kind gesture. The view from the balcony was good. Though the Munnar Tea Hills Resort itself has very few activities but anyway you don't spend much time at the Munnar Tea Hills Resort when you have planned to explore the munnar.

Good accomadation and ambiance, behavior of staff was also good

Very warm and friendly staff. Clean and neat rooms. Approach road was a bit difficult. Nice location away from the crowd at munnar. The restaurant was also neat and clean with very prompt staff.

The property is located at very beautiful location. The outside view is very beautiful and we had a pleasant stay

Peaceful and environment friendly place

Restroom can be designed near bedroom. Breakfast was good.

Away from noise of city and surrounded by nature, a nice place to stay, we loved the scenic view. Food was a bit too spicy for us though we were able to get less spicy food on al a cart e basis staff are very well behaved and polite a safe place to stay

It’s a good place for family’s and also for couples. They were very care about our stay

We had a great time. The staff was friendly and their service was prompt. Rooms were clean, food was excellent and prices were reasonable too.

Stayed in a valley room, it has a small balcony but the view is mostly blocked. However the view from outside the cottage is amazing. The Munnar Tea Hills Resort staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean and cozy. The food menu could've been a little better.

The property was very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and the service was very prompt and good. A must visit stay with very comfortable and spacious rooms with excellent view. And the food was also very nice.
