Munroe Meadows | Rooms in a Homestay

Property is away from main road so no restaurants nearby. But as it is so, the place is very quiet and peaceful, less polluted. Food provided by them for breakfast and dinner was good. Room was clean n decent. Safe for couples to stay.

I was a good experience. The host is super helpful and she arranged for all our needs, be it canoe ride, station transport or dinner. The rooms were well maintained and spacious and the food was delicious. Overall its a good option if you are looking for a homestay in munroe island and i'll visit again here whenever i get the chance.

Excellent food & property. But, not a water frontage one. The staff's behaviour is excellent. Prawns roast was outstanding and mouth watering.

Though the property is located in a remote area, it was worthy to travel and explore the hidden beauty of the village. It was a wholesome experience right from great home food, good healthy communication by the owners. They were soo good and arranged us everything we needed and we wanted. We had a good experience to remember for lifetime.

The property is run by a small family in this village, they really did a good job designing the interiors. It is really spacious and clean. Call them before visit and make arrangements for food and they will prepare it for you. I will visit again. Thanks

We had a peaceful stay for two days. Then host are very friendly and helpful. Food prepared by anjuna was very tasty. They were always around to take care of our needs. No much scope for outing considering present weather. We were left to our things with no complaints or restrictions. Would love to visit again

I had a nice experience staying at this property. The hosts are very humble, cooperating. I would say hospitality at its best. They served me home cooked meal, and needless to say it was delicious. I had an early check in and it was smooth. They even prepared breakfast for me on request mr. Ajith was kind enough to arrange boating ride for me and even dropped me at the railway station the next day. Coming to the property, it's more than wow. I was amazed to see the cleanliness of this place. These guys has done a superb job in building and keeping the place neat and clean. The rooms are big and very cozy. The place is merely 2 km from railway station and accessible. So if you are visiting man-roe island, you can book this place without a second thought.

I went for a day trip. The home stay was awesome. The room was clean. The host ajith and his wife anjuna both were very good. Food was homely and tasty. The location was little inside but go-ogle map helped a lot. It was indeed a nice exp.

This place is a bit isolated from rest of the holiday destinations in Kerela. It was our first home stay. Room was really big, with clean washroom. AC was available for 24 hours at some extra cost. The host and his wife are very friendly and take care of minute details. A canoe ride was arranged by the host, which took us to the mangrove trees and Ashtmudi Lake, through the backwaters. It's very peaceful. The host's wife cook dinner for us, and it was both tasty and hygienic. Overall a superb stay. Highly recommended.

Every time the owner promote commission basis activity and very poor service and specific food. No snakes available.

Food was amazing especially sambar, prawns and karimeen fry. If I come to Munroe again, Munroe Meadows will be my first choice.
