Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant

We wanted a retreat from the regular hustle and bustle of our city life. Additionally wanted some time off from our regular work so that we can relax and rest. We selected this resort after searching on the google and it did not let us down. Let me list down what I liked most about this resort - Location is awesome - very close to the entry gate of Manas National Park. - Rooms were great - cosy and relaxing. With all the amenities even in the jungle - exceeded my expectations. - Staff was polite, courteous, and very prompt in service. - Food is great. Although with limited options (I understand because of its locations, the taste and preparations are wonderful. Next to home made food. - They arranged for pick up and drop to Guwahati airport for us ( at extra payment).. Also, arranges for the safari and local sightseeing. The only drawback that I see here is the lack of a dedicated land line to take care of the credit card payments. Although the resort accepts credit cards, but the network is not there most of the time. We tried to pay by credit card multiple times and each time it failed because of network issues. Later we had to go by car for almost 2 kms, where we could make the payment. This takes a lot of time and impacts our schedule. Other that this it was a great experience to stay in this resort and will definitely recommend this to others as well.

I like most about the Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant is its serene and peaceful environment and well manicured lawns and garden, cand surrounded by greeneries. Staff's are very polite, helpful and courtaceous. Food decent. Best place to rejuvenate your mind and body. Net connection is extremely poor wifi works only in loby. It ia due to it's proximity to a national sanctuary government do not allow to many mobile towers. Of-course poor connectivity of the net is blessings in disguise. N
Though the area looks peaceful, i didn't see many security person around. As the Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant occupies a huge area and cottages are scattered around, i could see security person in the gate only. Again there is not huge boundary wall, it is covered by only wired fencing. The compound ofcourse is well lighted.

Located in the middle of lush green forested area, its a treat to the eyes. The cottages are well maintained. The view from the cottage and main building is breathtaking. Just opposite the road is a fenced Jungle and if you're lucky, you may get to see rhinos grazing right beside the resort. Staff was very friendly and breakfast options, the food, the service was fabulous. Its located 200 metres from the Manas National Park where you can easily hop on for a memorable Jungle ride. The interior of the resort is also beautiful and kept very natural. Had an amazing stay and look forward to come again.

We arrived very late around 10. 30pm but to our surprise all the staff were waiting for us in the reception very concerned. The hospitality they showed was tremendous. The all became very active and also took down our orders though they close service at 10pm. The served us with a smiling face which is very less seen. The next two days was a very good experience with pork, duck, chicken cooked in local style. We felt the warmth of the staff all the time. Thanks for such a hospitable stay. You get up in the morning to be welcomed by peacocks in the lawn and rhino just outside the boundary.

Staff are courteous and helpful. The main park gate is 300 meters away, the fence of the park is opposite the Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant. The safari rides on both jeep and elephant and to Royal Manas in Bhutan they organized were fantastic. The rooms have a new feel, I stayed in the Bansbari Villa was worth the extra money. Food prices are reasonable. One good up by the Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant when I checked in they gave me a smaller room than what I had paid for, I had to get this rectified. It would have been better without this.

Musa is one of the best resorts around Manas National Park. It is right across the park border. We had a great view of the park grasslands from our room lawn. in the early mornings varities of birds can bee seen on the resort ground. Activities like safari, local sightseeing etc can be arranged from the reception or over WhatsApp. The property has a playground for children. The rooms were spacious and perfect for a relaxing vacation. What I liked about Musa is that it is near the Park gate, the staff provided good support, the rooms were spacious and the price is reasonable.

The location is quite apt, just outside the entrance on the right. It has around 22 villas which are quite well maintained and it provides almost all what one could expect for a comfortable stay. The food needs special mention as it's just like home cooked food and really well prepared. Moreover one could ask for a bonfire to be set for that extra oommppp of enjoyment and relaxing under the night sky with family or friends. And one should go for the river rafting which provides one with unparalleled beauty of the manas river.

We reached a bit earlier than the normal check in time, however the staff was very helpful and helped us check in as soon as possible. They had organised the jungle safari with guide for us and the entire experience was seamless. They also organised bonfire setting beautifully. Even the food was finger licking good. Our favourite was the chicken noodles and pork dry fry. The staff at reception, kitchen everyone was very sweet and helpful i would recommend that everyone should visit mus a jungle retreat at-least once

Pros the resort is very neat and clean. The service is upto the mark. It is near the Manas sanctuary. One can get the safari from the resort itself. Cons: No WiFi in the rooms. Exorbitant prices for food.

As expected. This is my second visit to musa .. At ease and wonderful service .. My kid loved the food there .. She was all excited at the extent of space within the complex and played at length on the swing and see saw ..

Very peaceful ambience. They arrange bonfire for you too where you can relax. The calmness of the place will mesmerize you. Excellent and courteous staff. Food is a bit costly but it's ok considering the service.

The location is even better from the forest bungalow and anybody can watch wildlife like rhino, elephant etc. In front of the Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant. Facilities are good enough but Musa Jungle Retreat Cottage | Rooms & Restaurant management is reluctant about their services.

Musa Jungle Retreat is located right on the Manas national park. The resort takes less than 3 hours from Guwahati. It offers very simple food options. That needs to be attended. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Would recommend this property.

Awesome experience.. Great hospitality, service, location and a thumbs up for food.. Must visit for every one.. Great value for money... Well maintained, clean and beautiful resort.. With all the amenities.. They provide safari and serve tasty food.. One can see rhino or peacock also.. Very much close to Manas National Park.

I would highly recommend this place for a peaceful vacation midst nature. Beautifully designed cottage with large verandah, view of Tea Garden from rooms, Bonfire arrangement, Serene Manas river in just 500 distance and the best part was that Manas National park is just few mins walk away from the resort. Perfect for 1-2 days weekend break.

Stayed at Panthera, nice rooms with tea garden as backdrop. On the foreground the resort starts where the forest ends making rhino sightings quite common from the resort itself. Food is OK and service is very prompt.

Hotel rooms cleanliness was good. And staff was also good.
