Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road

We stayed in muscatel himalayan just few days back. I have booked for 3 nights for a deluxe room in muscatel himalayan. But initially they had to transfer us to their another resort "muscatel spiringburn, which is 5 m away due to some plumbing issue at our booked room! so it was really unexpected for us! after reaching Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road at evening we had to wait for check in, as the plumber was working during that time. As all other deluxe rooms were book they couldn't provide us an another room! later they have decided to transfer us to another hotle. So the room they have provided for the 1st night that is a smaller one and not deluxe one. The next morning they have transferred us to our original room which i have booked in muscatel himalayan. Staff helped us properly during this process. Good food is available in their restaurant. Dinner, breakfast both. Room cleanliness is also good. Room service available till 10 to 10. 30 pm. So overall good experience for us to stay at muscatel himalayan.

Good quality room at a very reasonable price. Service is good as well as their ccd coffee machine. If you want to have your coffee at their sundeck, early in the morning, the staff helps you and gets your coffee all the way to the roof from the ground floor. But the reception staff can improve in giving elaborate suggestions on how to go about sight seeing around darjeeling. They didn't seem interested to help me out in recommending places (which i was looking forward to as an outsider) maybe that's not their job it seemed. The Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road is situated at a height which makes the approach to the Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road very steep and exhaustive (if you're walking. Otherwise, a very good and quiet place to stay. 10 mins away (walking) from the hustle and bustle of the market.

Everything was good about the stay except the location of the Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road. It is located on a hilltop and the road is extremely steep, where you will have to walk all the way up to reach the property and no cab driver will give you a drop for such a short distance around 200meters. Not at all recommend for elderly couples and they don't even provide a car which would be very helpful for the guest as they would avoid that steep climb. My parents really had a difficult time climbing that road. Overall the stay was quite pleasant, with big rooms and bathrooms. The view from the terrace is amazing as kanchanjangha is clearly visible from the Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road terrace.

Pros: stay was good, rooms were too good, the manager ujjwal rai had given us good services and especially i want to mention about the rooftop sundeck, it was really awesome, you can see kanchanjangha clearly from there. Cons: 1. The Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road is located at quite top from the main road. To reach there by walking you have to complete a small treck from main road which is quite tough for a normal people because when you have to leave the Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road on frequent basis it is very painful. 2. The room no. 109 was our room. The window of that room was no view we cannot open because there is construction of new building is happening beside.

Darjeeling is one of the most beautiful hill stations one can see. Its a place with awesone and breathtaking scenic beauty and its a wonderful place to spend your time. I've been... and Miscatel Himalayan resort made my trip. I visited there with my mom. She is very satisfied ☺️ The behaviour of staffs are very good. They are very helpful. The view from the roof top of Muscatel Himalayan resort is eye catching. The entrance way of this resort is very high. Avoid if there is any old member in your group. Other than this really very very beautiful resort. Thank you so much Muscatle Himalayan Resort.

The three most amazing things about this place were : - the interiors which gave the feel of a plush stay. - the location was perfect. It was really close to city center but also situated in such a way that you are away from the hustle and bustle. And you've got great views from the terrace lounge area. - the food quality is amazing and the staff even more so. They will go out of their way to ensure that you get to eat whatever your heart desires. They even offered to cook dishes for us which were not on the menu and did an excellent job at that. Would definitely stay here if in darjeeling.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road. Everything about the Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

I am dr hi-mason rai and so is my partner. I have stayed in Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Roads from 5 star Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Roads to economic Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Roads but this was the most worst reception that i got. The lady at the counter had a very bad attitude and not even one smile though i smiled at her. We dint feel welcome at all and it’s not professional at all. She is very bad for your business i must say. I don’t know her name but she was on evening shift of 25. 04. 2024.

Overall good but not the best. Rooms are good and clean. Service is slow. But the view from terrace is amazing.

Budget stay, though location of Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road was not that accessible

This stay at musctel was very good. Location was very good. Amenities were good. Service was excellent 👌.

We had a pleasant 3 night stay at muscatel himalayan resort. The place is close to many good restaurant like kunga, glenary's etc. And this place is 500 mtr walk from the toy train station. Staffs were very helpful. I would like to thank deepti, suraj and binodh (he helped when i was struggling to book a cab to reach gangtok. Overall experience was good.

Staff behavior is good and welcoming. The room is clean and hygienic. Very near to mall road. I found it on google map.

This is near the mall road, wake-able distance the mall, also staff behaviour is good, any vehicle drop at Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road gate.

We booked suite room and room was spacious. Ir has nice mountain view from lobby and sun deck. Even we got the kanchenjungha view from sundeck. Staffs are very polite and like to mention few names like vinod, suraj, deepti. They have in house restaurant but prices are quite high and for mineral water bottle they charged more than mrp. We raised this concern with them and they ensured it will be taken care. Overall it was a nice stay and like to recommend to others as well.

Had a fantastic stay at this Muscatel Himalayan Resort - 400 Mts from Mall Road! The hygiene and cleanliness were top-notch, and the service was excellent. Thanks to Ujwal at the front office for the outstanding help and service – truly made our experience memorable! Highly recommend.

Was good place to stay with family, only thing is that it is located at a distance from the market
