Mystique Ville

I booked 5 rooms including 3 vintage rooms and suites informed the Mystique Ville that we will reach there by 8 am and the guy Mr. Sham/Shyam confirmed that we can check-in at that time as well although the checking time is 12 noon. So, we drove whole night to reach there early and planned our trip accordingly. Once we reached there we got to know that rooms are not available and it will be only available after 12 noon. This was seriously disgusting, we were neither informed nor were told about this even after asking the guy several time before. On top of this Mr. Shyam was not there and he told that he will reach in 20 min. His 20 min completed after 1. 5 hours, meanwhile we are trying to relax somehow at Reception, the other guy Mr. Kartick was apologetic and was so nice to handle our frustration. But when this guy Shyam came in, instead of apologising he started shouting and misbehaving that he can't do anything. Go and find any other Mystique Ville, bla bla bla. We gave him left and right. He is not fit for this job of handling the customer. After we shouted, he understood that we are not going to be easy customer for him and we may escalate to any level. Then he arranged everything in hassle. After that he didn't raise his voice but that 15-20 minutes of initial conversation was horrible/ pathetic/ unbearable/unprofessional etc. He should have accepted his fault and could have understood the pain that we had to change our whole plan just because he didn't bother tobi form us. If he could have informed us at least 1 day before, we could have started from Bangalore accordingly. We were with our family and such response was not accepted from him. Guys, location is awesome, property is superb, even food is great, arrangements could have been better but you can't expect a Taj experience in low budget. If you are booking it, please confirm the check in timing and try to check in by 12 pm only to avoid such issues. If I remove the check in experience and horrible response initially by Mr. Shyam, rest all things were fine.

It is located in the middle of the forest on the mountain and offers some breathtaking views. Location is very good. I just loved it. But the biggest issue was with the service. Forget about bad service the people sitting at the reception keep on changing 3-4 times a day and each person says different things. For eg: we asked the guy at reception whether the pool is opened or not? He told that cleaning is going on and it will be done by today and you can use it by tomorrow. After few hours we went to reception to inform them about the evening campfire. There was another person sitting over there. He told us that camp fire will be charged extra (Rs. 1500/-) which was free in all other resorts where we stayed. We asked him update of the pool and he said that it will also be charged extra (Rs. 250/person/hr) but it is under maintenance and cannot be used. We asked them to change our rooms for which they first told that we need to pay extra Rs. 700/room. When we started negotiating they told that room is not available. They charge extra for everything. So I asked them whether you charge extra for electricity bill as well. Then he got violent and used this respecting words which forced me to call the make my trip guys right there. After calling them he became a bit normal. But if the service had been good, it is a heaven.

The resort is located far away from Ooty. The road that takes you inside the resort is very steep and we need to be very careful while entering through car since the entrance is bang on the road and closer to the curve. Rooms are very spacious and big enough for four adults to stay in one room comfortably if they allow. Rest room is clean and neat. Water flow is also good. The restaurant serve both veg and non veg and food quality is above average, however prices are a bit costlier than regular rate. Swimming pool looks very nice, however they need to maintain the water since I had rashes the next day post the swim. You cannot watch TV while sitting or sleeping from the bed since the cot has additional wood which will instruct the view from the bed. Overall we had a good stay at the resort, the employees are very cooperative and helpful in nature. If you want to stay away from the commercial nature of Ooty, this is one of the best place.

A lovely place to be in with your family. very courteous staff, especially the manager Mr. Ram who went beyond his daily work to help us out. Room # 208 is the room to be. The view is heavenly. This place is just off the 15th hairpin bend when u are on to the ghats towards Ooty from Madumalai forests. Yeah, the approach is bit tricky, but thats the fun part. Just the look of the Mystique Ville and the location made us feel that our decision was not wrong. Food is great though a bit on the expensive side (that is there in all the resorts. I will add this into one of my favourites and will surely come back to this place again, This time to stay for more days.

It is a very good place to enjoy with family. The location of the Mystique Ville is totally away from the human crowd and vehicles. In the morning and evening during before sun rise and after sun set, you can feel the voice of the nature. It is totally different and nice experience. The people are very co-operative. The location is little away from Ooty, but the Mystique Ville people are ready to arrange vehicle for pickup and drop from the center of Ooty. If you have your own vehicle, then you will feel still more convenient. You can see the movement of wild animals in and around the Mystique Ville itself. Totally it is different experience.

The stay is at a very good location near kalhatti waterfalls. There are 2 types of rooms available vintage and heritage. Vintage rooms are with big glass windows facing waterfalls. This is a cool place. Heritage is a normal room. The property is nice and have good space to sit and do campfire and play games like badminton. Only thing is the stay is far from ooty city and you need to cross hair pin curves to reach the stay which is y police don't allow other than tn registration vehicles. If you are coming by own vehicle then you need to take another route which is around 30km more than the actual distance from ooty to stay.

I went there with my family, the place is bit far from Ooty Town and close to Mudumalai and I feel it's the best thing. First when I reached there I got amazed because of the location and view from Mystique Ville. Also the Mystique Ville and is much better than the picture and their service as well. Also we met a real humble and adventurous person, Bala and with him we actually had some real great moment while trekking. He arranged a great jungle trekking for us which was a life time experience. In one word every moment we spent just more than awesome. Mystique rocks.

Kluneys Mystique Ville is a hidden treasure tucked away in the majestic Nilgiris Hills. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and allows you to enjoy nature at your own pace. The views from the Hotel of the Kalhatty Waterfalls, the valley, the tea and coffee estates and the movement of the clouds are breathtaking. The food is delicious and the service is personalized and caring. I would love to return to this Hotel with friends and family. My entire family including the kids absolutely loved the ambience.

Relaxing and en-joyful stay good to see nature beauty

I enjoyed our two days stay there... Staff is very good and response is good and food is very tasty.. But only thing food was expensive.. But that taste is worth for money.. And full of nature and nice place to relax.

Food was good. Very calm atmosphere and it was a great experience. The forest rides in the jeep with the guide Bala was really fantastic and it was unforgettable experience. There are only 11 rooms and the Mystique Ville takes personal care of guests and people come for enjoyment and relaxation, It is far from the madding crowd,

We had an excellent time at the Mystique Ville, couldn't ask for more. Personalized service & attentive staff ever willing to serve to their best. Must mention of one Balakrishna a gentle & very knowledgeable person, arranged our safari to the forest & neighbouring area. I will recommend to stay here if you are looking for an easy relaxed stay without the glamour tag.

The place was excellent but the stay was not satisfied maintenance was poor, we find some games but not well maintained, hot water for fresh up not properly supplied. Food was very tasty but during our stay we ordered tandoori items we didn't get. After staying at Kallatty (Mystique) also in check post they didn't allowed to pass they have to take some initiative for that. Service was excellent, staff where really good. Thanking you

The stay was wonderful in this place, a great location with waterfalls view. Staff were friendly, but you should know Tamil to enjoy their true friendliness. Although few negatives as hot water was not provided during the first day of the visit, swimming pool was under construction. Food is bit costly but worthy as no Mystique Villes nearby.
