NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT

The location of this resort is extremely at the end of tapola nearly 23 kms through hills from Mahabaleshwar city centre, so try to reach before sunset. There is a steep entrance from road to resort, so kind of difficult for travellers but it's manageable. The resort has a capacity of 12 rooms with a combination of both couple rooms and family rooms. The couple rooms have a single double bed whereas the family rooms have two double beds. so one family room can accommodate 4 people. There are few machans for you to chill along with few fire places for your bonfire. The NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT staff can arrange for chairs and music and marinated meat as per preference around the bonfire with music boxes too. Options for food are limited (very limited) so ensure to pre order if looking for something specific or you need to settle with rawas fish fry and chicken sukha only. Needless to say both veg and non veg are available, although choices are limited, the quality of food is very homely. Alcohol is allowed and in case you fall short of it, the staff can arrange. special acknowledgement for manager mr.abhay, thank you for the lovely experience! Overall itenary should be check in on day 1 before sunset, unpack and relax for the rest of the day in the resort. Next day early morning enjoy the beautiful scenary of koyna river from the machans of this resort. Finish the photoshoot and checkout formalities and leave for tapola boat club around 1km from here. Opt for the package of koyna wildlife sanctuary worth 5000₹. 2 hours up and 2 hours down the koyna river amidst the beautiful mini Kashmir tapola to reach the sanctuary and spend 4 to 5 hours there. Start for return by evening before sunset !

It was and peaceful stay at this resort i was there for tonight rooms are very much cleaned the view was perfectly in front of the NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT you can see the koyna river from your room itself the food was really really tasty and hygienic since it was a homemade food. The prices of food was also reasonable. Tera lot of stuff to play for children's there are indoor and outdoor games as well there is a conference room and loan where you can see it in the evening and enjoy your food barbecue and drinks. You will need to inform about your lunch and dinner menu in advance so that they can prepare it since it's a remote location NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT. The staff was very much cooperative and polite. The NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT has ac and non ac rooms. In evening they will play some music on a bluetooth speaker in the lone area very we can everyone can sit and enjoy. Thanks to mmt and nandanvan NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT it was really a nice journey to the tapola.

I was a wonderful stay with breath taking views and full of natural beauty. I recommend everyone to at least try this stay at least once and enjoy the weather. It is 26 km from the main market and taxi will take around 1hr to reach and charge 1200 rs. But there is another way govt bus frequency is good during day time from bus stand and drop is just infront of the NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT. Around 1 km from NANDANVAN TENT AND RESORT there is boating which is relaxing adventure. So people can stay and relax. You can plan next day for roaming

A very peaceful resort away from hectic city lifestyle. If you want to distress in a natural way then this is a great place to be. I found the family rooms very nice and the view from the balcony is quite a scene. Staff is polite and helpful. Food arrangement are good but advance order for menu needs to be given. Food taste is homely but perfect. Definitely you should visit once.

The property is located at a picturesque location. You get a beautiful view of the mountain and the river from the resort. The food was very good simple home cooked food. The staff was also friendly. The place needs better maintenance. The bedsheets were old and not very hygienic.

It is located in the sweet spot of tapola. Koyna is visible from here and it looked awesome. Also the decorations are splendid.
