Narkel Kunja Resort

The resort is awesome but the room maintenance is zero. balcony's condition was too bad than the windows lock was dirty and full of lizards shit. food quality is average but the price is like some 4 star place. basically management don't give a damn about the cleanliness of the rooms.

Very good experience. Ambiance and all are very good.

The place & the people around were great. Stay overnight, light rains, boating in deep water, food were also commendable

My stay at Narikel Kunja resort at Dumboor, Tripura during 6-7 Sept. 2025 was pleasant, full of joy & comfort. Make My Trip made it easy to avail the facility.

Excellent hospitality courteous staff ambiance is great interior decoration is excellent the greens around is very well maintained

food quality is below average, even the taste of food is also not as per. very limited menu, whatever you ask for they don't have

excellent place , it was a dream stay, a classic place for family and friends. food very nice . the lake and water bodies are excellent reminds of chilka lake

The Narkelkunj resort is a newly built on a small island on a lake named Dumbroo.We had a very pleasant stay there.The no of cottage is twenty three,each having a large bedroom with a lake view balcony and spacious washroom and a well furnished living room.There is a nice restaurant too.The food is also good.The nature at its best there amidst rows of coconut trees & others.The sweet atmosphere created by birds at dawn and dusk is really enjoyable one.And aboveall the sweet behaviour of the staff there will be remembered for a long time to come.

Our stay at narikel kunja island resort was awesome. The staff is very supportive and food was tasty. The suits are designed well and have lovely view of dumbo-or lake. Gardens are maintained so nicely. Highly recommended to all to visit once in the lifetime. Nice weekend outing for people of agartala and udaipur.

The cottages are pretty, place is beautiful however it extremely disorganised and incompetent staff. Food service was horrible, average serving went upto 1. 5 hrs and not served until several follow up calls. We had to finally go to the kitchen and wait for room service. Upon arriving we realised there is a temporary pool as main walking bridge is not usable. It was an ordeal for my elderly parents to go through the unstable makeshift bridge. Shower tap was broken and we did not get hot water. Breakfast staff did not offer water, no table service, buffet was not great. Narkel kunja is a beautiful location but not ready for tourism. Staff training is must for better experience.

The place is nice and tidy, decoration is wonderful, view from the resort is pleasant. Food was too good. Staffs are very helpful. Only thing, wifi is not working in few rooms.

The service was very prompt and staff were very well behaved. Food at the restaurant was amazing. I want to thank sourav at the reception and aamarshanti chakma for being so prompt in the service requested

Great rooms with amazing view. Food quality and Taste very good. All the amenities provided. But Dinner served late.

The property is huge but staff are lesser. If maintained properly it can be a master piece. In the late night if power goes off no body lifting the phone on reception for starting the genset. The room is entirely air conditioned and without power you feel suffocated for power cuts. You can not open the door too being the isolated area. Food quality may be further improved. After reaching, guests have to walk to reach the property crossing the bridge. If this can be tied up with boat services, travellers may reach the property easily with some nominal charges added on the package similar to other similar lake premium properties. Security may also be improved if possible looking to the property location.

Food was good. Rooms were also good but the too many small insects. Couldn’t sleep properly. Winter is best time to visit

It was an amazing experience in staying here. The cottages are spacious, very clean with separate bedroom, sitting and little service area. The entire cottage is air-conditioned. The lake view from the small verandah is also beautiful. The entire campus is very well maintained and having some evening or morning walk is absolutely enjoyable. The staff are also very well behaved and co'operative.
