Nature Trails Kundalika, Kolad

The resort is huge about 22 acres. Lots of activities to do like kayaking, zipline, burma bridge, bonfire at night. All this is included if you stay for a night and take the full board option. Everything here is just amazing: The food is the usual roti, 2 sabji, dal, rice, salad, sweet dish and sometimes fruits as well but its all very tasty. We wanted Jain food and they catered to that also. If your not fussy about food you'll have a great time and you will tend to over eat. They also serve high tea in the evening and bed tea at 7:00 AM. Its a royal treatment. We stayed in the Super deluxe tent which was simply awesome. Very spacious, nice decor and super clean. It came with AC, Hot kettle with coffee tea maker, fridge and geyser (so no problems of getting hot water anytime). As of now they have only 2 of these tents but they are constructing a few more. So if you visit stay in these or the super deluxe cottages. The rafting needs to be booked separately, but they do that as well and that too at a good rate, so no need to book it from elsewhere like mentioned in the earlier reviews. For a weekday they charged the standard rate throughout. The service and staff are great. Always greet you with a smile and take care of all your needs. There is no cellular network in most of that village. The resort has a very good speed WiFi in the reception and dining area only. The rooms are a little far from the reception, a short walk of 3-4 minutes, so no Wi-Fi there. We stayed here on a weekday so the resort was practically empty and all to ourselves still they had a good spread and variety of the food. We booked via MakeMyTrip and got a very good deal. So when in Kundalika this is the best place to stay, not too expensive, very clean rooms and amazing food.

We booked Kundalika Rafting Camp 2 months prior to our stay. However right before the week our stay was, some one called and said that there is a corporate offsite and that the entire resort is booked by them and we are the only other people and they were asking us to cancel the booking. We said we had no problem for the same. Also people go to Kolad for rafting and the Nature Trails Kundalika, Kolad has a provision of booking rafting a day in advance. However, since we did not cancel the booking these people never kept the slots for us saying all the rafting slots were booked. Hence, we booked from some other rafting camp. Later on at the rafting site we noticed that the rafts of Nature Trails Kundalika, Kolad were entirely vacant and that they could easily have given us the slots. The place is decent but too secluded. Little scary if there are no other visitors as it is in the interiors. There is no network connectivity in the rooms neither do they have a television. They do have activities like Zip Lining, Tarzen Swing, Burma Bridge Kayaking which are decent and they take good care of safety. Food is decent enough. Would recommend to visit once for an experience. We stayed in Super Deluxe AC tents which clean and tidy. They were comfortable and cosy too. If you are a nature lover this is a place to be.

Although we visited in summer (apr23) but still weather was not so humid due to property in amidst jungle. Activity- kayaking and water rafting are good. Kayaking organised by resort as resort is near to river. Water rafting is through third party and start point for rafting is 20 km from resort. Room- one will find lot of negative reviews for regular ac tent. But we stayed there in summer and it was completely value for money. It has window ac so might take 20-25 minutes in cooling entire room. As i said in all value for money. Food- very limited variety, below average quality. For short stay of a day it could be fine but for long stay of 2-3 days people will find it not challenging. Lot of people complaining that they charge heavy for water bottle. One can use ro water cooler, so no problem of water. Yes if you need bottle water then it could cost a bit as property is not surrounded with market/city.

The property is huge clean filled with greenery’s huge lake lot’s of activities. Staffs are very helpful and cooperative. We booked a tent ac room it was clean quiet big with a clean washroom. The best part of the resort is the food, it’s very delicious lots of varieties hygienic and fresh. Veg and non veg both the options are just awesome not very spicy as we wanted but very testy. Breakfast lunch dinner all goes awesome. We get to do kayaking zip lining trekking all kinds of activities with some affordable cost. Only thing they need to improve is no wifi connection they have wifi but it doesn’t work, and zero network of air-tel vodafone only jio works but very poor connection. They were having lot’s of power cut but they have backups for it. Overall our saty was excellent. No phone calls no disturbance total enjoyment in the lap of natures.

Approach from tamhini paud Pune is terrible at least for 1 year more considering terrible road conditions better avoided who can afford. No proper directions for nature trails tents area and map location sent lead us to actual rafting camp start rather than residential area, no contacts were connect able we got to know only Jio works there. In short keep in mind if you are starting from Pune your adventure camp start in travel itself. Once you reach the residential venue it's a dip world altogether, staff food common services etc are relief and almost all the activity staff we came across was cheerful and smiling and they made us enjoy all the time spent there, they endured kids also had their bit of enjoyment.

How do I start! Well, to begin with, my best getaway experience ever! The picturesque backgrounds, the beauty of nature at its peak, the home cooked authentic maharashtrian delicacies, the monsoon, everything was perfect. The camp was helpful enough with everything we asked for. The river rafting experience, made it a lifetime experience for me. P. S. - Nature lovers, you can enjoy this beautiful place more only during monsoon! Otherwise, it was a office getaway with all colleagues appreciating me for having chosen a location like this! It was breathtakingly beautiful! Try this place out, and you will fall in love with nature all over again!

The resort is at far inside the village at a remote location. But amidst nature. The rooms are comfortable and nice. We enjoyed kayaking, one of the many activities at the resort. It was scenic and beautiful. There are no food places Around the resort, so its best to take a full meal package. They provided Indian meals and the food was tasty. They take you for Rafting in the morning which is 20 min far from the resort. Overall an awesome experience.

I stayed at Nature trails on Oct 6th. The location is nice. The AC tents are clean and good. The staff is courteous and helpful. Food was awesome. The folks helped us book the rafting and arranged a (paid) transport till the rafting start point. The activities included are basic but fun. There's no network signal though (Docomo works). They've WiFi that'll work from the reception area. Overall, a nice experience!

A great Trip and an experience for a life time ☺️

Great location and even greater staff who take care of your needs .. Remember it's in a remote Forest location, so learn to co-exist with some neighbors (insects) who may creep into your room. My advice: Have mosquito repellent and Tata docomo sim.

Just a few more signage on the road (big ones) for locals its OK but for non maharastrians it will. Be heavily beneficial . And kindly don't stick to the age old marathi breakfast, POHA, MISEL Pau . Instead introduce some cornflakes, milk, juice, fruits.

This place is super, special the staff, all softy mesure were take while advanture activities. Food as good.

They should look more in to safety part of tents because on last night I found a snake inside locked tent which I reported and then the staff caught snake and took him away but then I asked for alternative since my kids were feared a lots of incident but then they shifted me to another resort for one night which was not ho to standards but I am ok with the staff cooperation. During this chaos.

Very good choice, if you get good discount. Family will love it. Lot of facilities. Better to go in group only otherwise you may not enjoy. We went in a group.

The Nature Trails Kundalika, Kolad is good value for money. We booked normal cottages. Rooms were clean and tidy. Most of the time is actually spent doing different activities zip line, Burmah bridge, kayaking, rafting, treasure hunt. Food is Maharashtrian style and is OK. Location is off the main road but once you reach there it is extremely peaceful, calm and serene.

Good experience and worth value for money.

Food place is awesome also nice service

Location is good, peaceful and best place for relaxation. However, sterling need to upgrade their service and most importantly food quality options. We are paying premium amount for the stay and getting a homestay kind of food. Price not justified at all.
