I like to suggest that this is the best place when you visit kumbakonam with family. Best of all, i like to mention the home quality of food. The care taker will treat you like a family person and serves quality food. As this place is located at remote location, you fill feel difficult to find Navagraha Homestays to eat nearby. But you need not worry since you will have food served inside home stay. The location is peaceful for family and kids. The manager will help you on places to visits, autos, travels and everything. The only negative i feel is cleanliness can be improved inside rooms. Since it is located at little remote location, it is better to come with own transport to avoid charges on autos and travels. Fantastic service. They kept calling me on the day of my arrival to check if I wanted any food arrangements to be made. Rooms were clean, big and AC worked very well. Neatly maintained washrooms and the food was very delicious. We specifically asked them not to make a spicy food and they kindly obliged. Only drawback could be the location for those who don't use own commute as it's located some 3 km away from the main town. But that is more than compensated by their superior service.
Top notch service, definitely recommended especially when you have your own car.

Very nice and we can really feel the home stay feel at Navagraha Homestay for dharsan of Navagraha temples and the historical Thanjavur Big temple. Good place to stay while on pilgrimage to chola country. Decently priced. Cleanliness can be better. A bit away from the center but a known fact. Away from the hustle and bustle with decent parking space for cars. However, all important temples are easily accessible thanks to google maps.

Kali arasan was very prompt and called me ahead of time and followed up on arrival time any requests. The stay was very pleasant and the food served for breakfast was very blissful. Good parking space. Price wise also affordable. Recommend this place for family trips.

We really liked the friendly people, warm hospitality and their helping nature. This place is located at the outskirts of kumbakonam yet easily connected with major attractions in the old town. Their food services can be better. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Room was very clean and spacious. The property also was neatly maintained. Ac worked fine and there was hot water supply too. But the place is a little bit away from the center of the city. Veg food was also provided if placed an order, however we didn't try it.

The staff are caring and food provided is also good but they could not serve hot food. The roads in Kumbakonam are horrible and not tourist friendly. Overall the stay was good.

Rooms were large and has good car parking. But they are a bit old. Hot water service was poor and no amenities were provided. Even for towels need to be asked. Place is outside the city, which might work for people based on what they are visiting.
