Neelakurunji Plantation I Rooms & Restaurant

This resort is a superb place for family get together (some challenges for sr citizens) or if you want to cut off from the world & spend quality time with yourself/friends. Beautiful & big rooms (without tv) an with all basic amenities make it a comfortable stay. We were well taken care by ab-in & his team & fresh food was served which tasted good. While booking one needs to note that- 1. Not to follow google maps & connect with property to get correct route guidance (we were lost & damaged our car. Thanks to google & late message from Neelakurunji Plantation I Rooms & Restaurant manager) 2. This property is not in munnar & about an hour away from the town 3. Its in the spices plantation so be ready to experience some insects & smell of manures (very unpleasant) 4. Speak with the property if you are travel-ling with senior citizens as not all rooms would suit them. Its a must visit for those who wish to experience the wilderness & hear unique birds sing all day. A good experience overall.

We had an amazing stay at Neelakurunji luxury plantation in Munnar recently. From the moment we arrived,we were taken back by the excellent hospitality of the staff. ( Akil , Eben , and the rest ).The rooms were just fantastic and impeccably maintained. Our stay was truly luxurious. On top of that, we were able to sample some delicious Kerala cuisine cooked according to their traditional recipes, something we won't forget in a hurry. We would definitely recommend Neelakurunji to anyone looking for a relaxing break or for a luxurious holiday destination. Our two nights stay there was a truly delightful experience. All in all,we had an unforgettable trip, and we would love to go back soon and explore more of this place. A special mention of the owner Mrs Suja who was always available over the phone to answer our multiple questions on the property patiently. It was an awesome experience to stay at neelakurunji plantation resort on 28th october 2023. I had booked it online. The location of the resort in the middle of the dense forest with 360 degree view of dense green jungle surrounded by hills on north, north east and east side was by itself very attractive for stay. The rooms are clean & spacious, well furnished, antique furniture, all facilities including light sports. The resort is very peaceful but with chirping of birds and is close to the nature. The restaurant is class a-part and the food served is best. Huge place, can roam around on walking trail in the jungle. Staff is very hard working and cooperative. It was really a nice experience and worth memorable to stay at this high end luxury property.

Situated inside a cardamom plantation, a must stay place for family or couples who are planning for a stay around chinnakanal. Resort is having a private stream and a small waterfall inside their property. Superb and tasty food. Almost all the time, the place is fully covered in mist which is a feast for your eyes. Kids friendly too. You can find a lot variety of birds in this compound which is soothing to your ears. Neat and clean rooms and have privacy for every guests as rooms are scattered over the place.

Found this from google search; then reviewed. Location is excellent. Calm and quiet;serene environment. All staffs in the resort behaved nicely and professionally. Food was good; though options are bit limited, the quality is excellent. You wake up with the chirps of birds and squirrels! being a plantation property(cardamom) the road to the resort is bit tough to drive. Fully concreted, but too steep y in some places. I drove self on toyota hyryder and was a good experience.

The resort was at an excellent location. Very calm and quiet location. Only the nearby waterfalls sound we can here. The service was very good. Food was good. All the staffs were very polite and helpful. Room was very clean. The road to the resort was kind of off-road and low ground clearance vehicles will have a difficult time to go through it. Other than that all good.

The stay was incredible, the location is perfect for an escape. I went with my parents and they also felt very refreshing and relaxing. The manager suja was very cooperative and a good communicator. E bin the care taker was very soft spoken and proactive. In terms of cleanliness and food and services, everything was satisfactory.

Room and amenities good, location and climate awesome, 24 hrs hot water facilities, food also superb but only one thing nobody else attend the call for advance booking food or booking room.

Great ambience, lovely room kept very clean and neat with excellent hospitality. The staff was very humble in service provided. The food was good though it was basic comfort food with no much variety in food menu

Property was good and clean. Staff was courteous too. Enjoyed our stay.

The resort was awesome. Menu for vegetarians was limited. The road for the resort approx 1. 5 km is so bad. Normal car sedan can not go there. But the ambience of the resort is awesome. Staff behaviour is so helpful. For resort i will give 5 star. But some points as i brought out needs to be looked after.

The experience at this resort was really amazing and relaxing. The food here is also equally delicious and every member of the staff are very helpful and responsive.

Very unique and beautiful place. Location is very inside of forest. Family can enjoy like anything. Best time to visit is sep, oct, dec.

Wonderful property, if sambhala is real this is the portal to it. Wild banyan trees feels like they are 100+ years old.

It is munnar’s best kept secret. Sprawling property. Rooted in nature with typical plantation style bungalows and cottages. Room a are simply and comfortably furnished.
