NEORA VALLEY RETREAT

Had an excellent stay in neora valley retreat, it is a mini paradise in rishop. The location of the resort is amid lush greenery and nature where you can enjoy trees, flowers and chirping of birds. The view of the mountains from the resort is breathtaking, on clear day you can visualize the kanchenjunga range sipping tea from the balcony of the cottage. The wooden cottages are beautiful, well maintained and quite spacious. The washrooms are cleaned with all basic amenities. They do house keeping and room servicing every day. The staffs and owners are quite polite and friendly. The food is very tasty and the food options are satisfactory. The cottages are aesthetically designed and the resort is spread across a vast area where you can take morning and afternoon walk. The place is also recommended bird photographers, there are lot of birding hotspots around. Will visit again this paradise with family in near future

It’s a heavenly abode in terms of location, and scenic beauty. The owner and staffs are extremely courteous and helpful and will try to provide you as much hospitality as possible in those terrains. However keep in mind it’s an extremely remote location and comes with certain limitations. Firstly, the road leading up to the NEORA VALLEY RETREAT (around 200-250mtrs) is very steep and not in good condition, it’s basically off roading. Secondly, the amenities are very basic owing to the remote location and lastly the food options are a bit limited. But overall if you go with the right mindset you’ll enjoy a lot, like we did and if luck is in your favour you’ll witness a breathtaking view of the mighty kanchenjunga right at your doorstep, apart from the panoramic view of the beautiful neora valley

Excellent stay. Beautiful scenic beauty. Far from the madding crowd. All details have been looked into. Rooms and washrooms were clean. During power failure generator was working. Provision for solar power is also there. Very good staff. Very helpful we felt it more as we are senior citizens. Food was very good. Variety of food was provided as per individual liking. They gave freshly cooked food. 24 hours hot water was available in the washroom. Bed warmer was there which helped to have a good sleep in the cold weather. Rohan the proprietor is excellent as a person. He was always there whenever we needed a helping hand. If i have a chance i plan to visit the place again.

The location of the property is very good. We stayed in a single cottage (gurus. From one of the windows we saw sunrise and from the other we saw the kanchenjunga peak. The behaviour of the staff was very good. The road to the property is in a bad shape. Difficult for small cars to enter. The property is very big, water shortage is an issue all over rishap. As this property is surrounded by trees, insects are very common. Food orders are to be given in advance.

Our stay at neora valley retreat was amazing.The place is just perfect ,surrounded with trees and a beautiful view..the owners are really friendly and cooperative..the food was great..rooms were very clean.the best part is all the cottages have privacy..they are situated a lil far from one another if you want to spend a weekend away from the hustle bustle with frens and family then this is the place.

The food, hospitality and the serene location were the most unforgettable things during the trip. The owner and the staffs were really great. The only thing i want to mention is, the last 10 min road is quite rough, hence please take big cars. It is really difficult to ascend to the steep road with a small car, we faced the same.

This is one of the best homestay in rishap. The view and food is ready awesome. Staffs are really soft spoken and helpful.

The NEORA VALLEY RETREAT is just awesome and the view of the mighty kangchenjunga is mind-blowing. Behavior of the staff is also good

Stay was comfortable and the view was beautiful. One suggestion they should provide electric flask in room so that one can get hot water as required

It was a wonderful stay but there is problem with supply of hot water at room. Food charges are bit high.

The location of the home stay is awesome. You will get direct view of kanchenjunga if the sky is clear. Food served here was amazing. Overall very happy with the service and the experience of staying here. Definitely will return here.
