NEORA VALLEY RETREAT

We went there as a group of 6 friends and booked the triple cottage. The rooms were clean and the beds were neatly done. The beds have electric blankets to keep you warm during the chilly nights and the bathrooms have geysers so it made things much easier in the extreme weather. There was an outdoor fire pit that you can use in the evening (nominal charges) and enjoy your evening snacks and the view of the Kalimpong town from your balcony. Rohan as a host made sure we don't have any trouble during our stay and Jeevan and Didi treated us with the most scrumptious meals throughout the day, be it mutton chicken or pork. An absolutely blissful stay and I would definitely recommend others to go for it!

I stayed in the retreat for 2 nights and it was the most tranquil and serene mountain stay i had ever experienced. The staff were very courteous and professional. The services were also prompt. The food was good enough, considering they are in an isolated location. The roads were terrible but that also is understandable because rishyap is very much disconnected from other areas and that is what makes to so serene. I would recommend as many people as i can to stay in the retreat for a few days and experience its bliss. And i will definitely be visiting it again.

I would recommend this property for its beautiful location and excellent food. The staff were very hospitable. The rooms are spacious, the electrically heated mattress is a definite plus point, the bathrooms are fitted with geyser and a solar powered bulb is provided for lighting during power cuts. The only drawbacks are that the power cuts are quite frequent and the staff has a habit of subtly hinting about tips (how previous customers have tipped them handsomely, etc.

Satisfied with their service. The place was neat and clean along with excellent scenic views. Food was excellent cooked by jeevan bhai, we had campfire and barbeque chicken arranged by jeevan bhai and pasang bhai. Overall experience was beyond my expectation and would like to visit again. Lastly, the owner of the retreat was approachable and polite. If you want to stay in rishop amid-st nature in serenity then neora valley retreat is the place.

Staying is excellent. Nice and well hospitality offered by the staffs. Food is good. We have done bonfire as well as chicken barbeque there. The only negative thing is that there is no proper road for cars (even small cars. The road condition is pathetic. You may have to walk a certain km to reach the homestay. Except that everything is so good and we enjoyed our stay there.

Mountain view cottages have a 270-300 degrees view of the mountains and snow clad peaks. Had a full and clear view of the Kanchenjunga for almost half a day. A paradise for bird watchers. Cordial and helpful staff and very friendly hosts Tashi and family made our stay comfortable and a great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at neora valley retreat. It is located at a beautiful spot with mesmerizing views, privacy is 100% assured, food is delicious and staffs are friendly and helpful. Cottages are perfect. I will be dropping a youtube video regarding my stay soon. Highly recommended.

As expected roads were in bad shape. Location excellent. Staffs were very polite and helpful. Rooms were excellent with hot water and hot mattress. Neat and clean duplex cottage. Views were good. Quality of food was awesome. Have own parking. Bolero or scorpio preferred to reach.

Not worth of money. Location is good view is ok but faculties can be improved.

There was an in house restaurant, and there the food was amazing. Location was nice but it was quite difficult to find that. They should provide hot water facility for 24 hours. Room was clean and cozy. Property was worth for money.

It's a beautiful stay food and restaurant both are are very good problem faced with 24 hour geyser service, no room heater, electric blanket was there in place of heater. Staffs and host both are very good and friendly.

Nice location with a good view. The approach road is broken though. Snall cars will not be able to go.

Everything was perfect. The owner Rohan is very nice guy. Food quality was nice. I heard the rate of food was high. But in that height with the quality they are providing it's really acceptable. And also Jeevan is very nice guy. Location is perfect best in Rishyap.
