My wife and i stayed at the property for 4 nights. We were very impressed by the rooms, great value for money and spotless, clean bathrooms (comparable to a very good Newzealand Group of Houseboats in the cities. Beds were very comfortable. Hot water is also available whenever you need. Juice and water provided in rooms as well as complimentary & delicious kahwa (kashmiri tea) on check-in. The houseboat has a beautiful deck with clear views of sunset across the lake and close to the floating market as well. The houseboat can be reached by quick 5 min shikhar from ghat 09 which the houseboat will org-anise for you.

The staff were so polite and welcoming and took care of our every need no matter what. There's something to say about the hospitality & extreme kindness of the Kashmiri people and this place definitively deserves an award for the best hospitality ever. I definitely recommend this place, not just for the experience of staying in a luxurious and well maintained houseboat, but for everything in between. I promise your heart will be full with love for the people of Kashmir and you'll want to come back for more because of how well the owner and the staff take care of you at the Newzealand Group of Houseboats 🚢⛵!

I spent four days at newzealand group of houseboats in aug'24 and was extremely pleased with the cleanliness, service, and delectable food they offered. They made sure that the room was kept fresh daily with replenished amenities and neatly made beds. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. I liked their diverse breakfast and dinner buffets, the food tasted great. I highly recommend this houseboat for anyone looking for accommodation around dal lake rooms5. 0 service5. 0

I am very happy with the service & facilities. Right from welcome drink to check out i have been taken care for each and everything. Caretaker waseem is a nice guy who was available 24/7 for any kind of service. Hot water was available 24/7. Waseem was kind enough to serve everything on the house boat deck. There are things taken care, of which is not mentioned in the itinerary. I am very happy and recommend everyone who wants to stay there. Thanks, waseem for all your service.

Good hospitality from pickup till your stay. There is shikara service which is free of cost from lake gate till house boat. Owner mr shah-id even the care taker mr. Dar ji was very kind warm welcomed us. Served us kashmiri kahwa on our arrival and even explained us about the locals their market, local product and other sightseeing. Our stay was pleasant. Beautiful house boat. Loved the stay here. Well maintained and lovely ambience. There courteous managers who managed the boat and provided all help. We even got breakfast on time. Breakfast was served in a boat which was fantastic. Still I would rate the stay here as very good and Memorable as we should understand it would be difficult to run a restaurant in the middle of the lake for just a few customers .

Property is located in dal lake and well maintained. Rooms are clean . They serve homely food which is the beat part. The owner is ready to help you in all manners. Only problem I found out was , electricity keep coming and go due to which heating was not working in morning

The best house boat in kashmir. All the staffs are very polite, cooperative, humble. The rooms are very neat and clean. Foods are very tasty. I strongly recommend the house boat for enjoying the view of dal lake.

We had a great experience in the houseboat. We went under package of breakfast and dinner. Food was so delicious with great taste. Waseem is the chef who came to us took opinions of us he is so nice. Sajid ahmed khan f&b captain is very good about guests.

Serene and beautiful experience, has a lovely view of the lake and the overlooking mountains. Personalized service is provided. Is an ideal getaway for a calming experience. I enjoyed staying at this property. Very warm welcome and the staff are very endearing.

Well maintained and exceptional service from staff. The location is nice and soothing. Highly recommended.

The houseboat is very nice and well decorated. Staff behaviour is good, especially wasim vai. He can manage guests very well. The only problem is coming to the ghat by shikara and moving from ghat to shikara to the houseboat. After evening their time boundation for sikara is very uncomfortable. Otherwise it's recommended.

I had recently stayed here with my family. I am full of praise for them. Starting from the family room, the hospitality of the staff, excellent and tasty breakfast, and a warm welcome on arrival.
