Excellent Stay

This is a old house neatly renovated with all required amenities. It is very close to Lata chowk and Saryu ghat. We had little difficulty in reaching here due to security barricades but there are many ways to reach here and owner guided us very well. Only through Ram Mandir main road during peak hours, it can be challenging, so better call them and check for which route to take. The property is clean, like a house ambience and very nice asthetics. Everything seems hand picked and well placed. Food is home cooked, and they have very nice courtyard and library. Also, it's very safe as Mayor of the city lives just next to it and this house also belongs to the Mayor family originally. We had a very satisfactory stay.

very beautiful homestay añd níce people. the location of this homestay is superb, just 200 metres from ghat añd river. food is limited choice but home style. they have a níce library also. we enjoyed staying here.

Stayed with my family. It was a nice stay, things were all clean and hygienic and staff kusum and niraj were helpful with local arrangements. Food is home style and healthy. Good place to stay with instagramable type decor.

The aesthetics of the place were very well done but hygiene is a major concern, especially the bathrooms. They were not clean and sufficient toiletries were also not provided for.

The home stay is on the main Ayodhya road, but the rooms were not at all clean. The bathroom was stinking and all stains on the tiles. However the food prepared by care taker was good. Also, there is not TV in the room. This Boutique needs lot of improvement for the amount they charge. Thanks!

familyThere were mosquitoes and Lizards everywhere. Its a very old property. Need maintenance. Charge is very high. Not at all worth. Air conditioner don’t have cooling. Owner is rude he and his wife asked my family (old mom and dad) and myself to live the property at 11:30 pm mid night if we don’t like it. Actually property doesn’t match with the make my trip room photos. Difficult to find the location.

Prachi, Since you are posting this review after 5 months of your stay and I still remember our interaction with you, you had good 6 hours after check in to decide whether the place is your type or not. Suddenly at mid night you started asking my staff to refund as it was not what you expected (like hotel, but you also wanted to stay overnight and not pay. We gave you options to change, we showed you nearby newer hotels, we also opened all our rooms which were not booked by you to see which one you like as per MMT. You took advantage and used all five rooms while booked for three. And then had meals also. And were adamant on not paying for anything. We had not asked you to leave our property without any reason, but we can not make guests just complaint and then stay and enjoy facilities for free. Meanwhile, I also remember you saying it looks like a house, it does not have lights like hotels etc. while we take pride in saying it's most beautiful Homestay in Ayodhya and our lights, furnishings to furnitures are all from Fab India to be appreciated by a certain class of guests.

We also agreed that it could be even better, but due to back to back check in and checkout and overbooking, with guests stuck on highways and staff assisting them in all odd hours, they are doing whatever best they can. We generally keep our standards high in terms of cleanliness and maintenance, but we will surely try to plan operations in a way that there is no issues with the maintenance part anymore. While the property care taker was polite and was tracking my reach but the property was not in reach. And later the owner stopped taking or responding the calls. So we were left with no choice and had to sleep in car. Didn't check in the location due to this, please process refund.

Great staff and room. Lack of proper amenities

The room was really nice, clean and well kept. The staff was also extremely helpful, they helped us book our cab and auto to explore the city. The only problems were lack of running water at night (even in the commode), there were no individual geysers in the room and the common one did not pump enough hot water. The room was near the reception and kitchen so it did get a little loud at times.
