Niraamaya Retreats Cardamom Club

Travelled with family along with my parents and seven-year-old son. The property is tucked inside thick jungle away from nearest Kumily town. The resort is apt for taking a proper retreat break from our daily chaotic lifestyle and city hustle-bustle. The rooms are well done, attached with a spacious washroom with all amenities provided for a comfortable stay. The staff are very courteous, in fact, called a day before to confirm about arrival timings and any special requirements. Well, it is difficult to reach the resort on own depending on google maps. They guided well to the resort on the phone. The swimming pool is large and 5ft deep and provides an excellent facility and it overlooks the mountain thickly jungled, providing an awesome view even while swimming. The ayurvedic spa and their therapeutic massages are not to be missed. They are very professional and you feel refreshed after the massage. In fact, there is an onsite ayurvedic doctor available for a free consultation and various other activities available on each day of the week to avail. The restaurant is well done and food is authentic Kerala style. No buffet layout is done due to food wastage. the breakfast is complimentary where both kerala style and continental food is available. The pick of the day was the homemade jam of Papaya and pineapple. The resort is apt for the couple as well as family who want to just rest, retreat from their daily chaotic life at cities.

Food was great so was overall ambience of the place. I would recommend anyone visiting to plan for more than a day, 1day is not enough. Please book spa in advance as it's not big enough to accommodate on same day or even on next day. Additionally I would recommend that website should provide room options clearly as they have different varieties like garden view, mountain view and tree house. Highway to resort roads are bad can be risky on a rainy day.

Stayed for 3 nights, extremely comfortable stay, right from my pre arrival to the departure every one from staff made sure we had a pleasant stay. They have set very high standards in meeting customer expectations. Very glad we stayed at Niraamaya. Specially from guest relations and staff at restaurant want to say a big thanks to everyone. You can choose this property with complete faith.

We had a wonderful stay at Cardamom Club. The staff especially Anisha and roy including the kitchen staff were fabulous. They were very considerate and made sure we were well taken care off. The property is located on top of a hill which makes it feel like you are so close to nature. The jungle sounds at night were really nice) clean rooms, great staff and beautiful views.

Hotel is located amidst the forest and cottages which we have been allotted (cinnamon and clove cottages) were having a very good garden view. Everything was just perfect.

Best place to stay in Thekkady. I would say. If you are in thekkady and not staying at NRCC is similar like you ha e visited city Agra and not visited to the Tajmahal.

Though we stayed for only two days, the services were great. Staff was very nice especially Girish and Ravindra. Would love to come back again.
