Nirvana Eco & Agro Resort

Overview: stayed with family, booked the deluxe cottage for my stay and the rooms were large, well put together with a decently large balcony walking area and very comfortable overall. F&b service could have done with some improvement (timely order) overall the breakfast spread on the first day was sub-par while the second day of my stay it was excellent. They have two play areas for kids and are sufficient for kids to be busy with. Detailed: eco credentials: while the resort is titled e co & aggro resort, there was not much to relate to except a bit less usage of plastics here and there. I am no expert to judge the buildings and how eco they were built etc. The credentials of “eco” and “agro” in the name the resort is a misnomer as we did not see much of aggro either or at least no one took the pains to explain that to us. If the resort indeed is e co & agro, they need to do a better job at explaining that for the guests. Most of the pictures shown were pretty accurate except for the farming bits, as we could not trace any of that anywhere in the resort nor we were guided towards it by the staff. Resort & rooms: deluxe cottage that i stayed in was very welcoming, big, spacious and very comfortable. The rooms were worth what i paid for, i believe, as it had a very nice balcony view area on both sides with one of them with the valley view that was excellent. The resort does not encourage alcohol consumption and smoking in rooms (or outside) which was a really nice. F&b: for those who stay here, please note that kitchen is not available 24x7, the room service is not that great as you may not be able to order things when the restaurant is not operational (for example, i ordered for tea at 3pm, was told it would only be available after 4:30 pm as the restaurant was undergoing cleaning after food service. Breakfast spread was good, while dinner options, though limited were good enough. Gulab jamun that we had both the days was the highlight. We did not have lunch and instead decided to have it on our outing near mahabaleshwar (however the menu remains the same for lunch/dinner. Staff: staff was very courteous, and well really helpful when spoken to (happy to ignore a few small misses by them. I had asked for room cleaning at the reception while going out, and 6 hours after i came back it was still not done so i had to remind them about it. Once i did remind them, the response was swift. Restaurant service was largely good, but two instances when i placed an order for an item and only to be told 20 minutes later that it was not available, which could be improved really. Weather: early mornings and late evenings were the best times we did enjoy, as the entire resort gets covered in mist/fog (weather depended, i believe. To do nearby: the main mahabaleshwar market area is a 35 min drive from this place, and there is nothing nearby the resort itself. The approach roads both from sides were pretty secluded [scary at night time ) ] one lane roads. Mobile network coverage is decent, however patchy. Feedback: given i went in the ganpati season, there was an installation in the dining area. Recommend to the resort that they move it to more general space because while i appreciate the festive (and i did take part in aarti, given that the times of aarti weren't not published, i had to do that by stopping mid-way through the meal i was having. I also saw a few other guests (may not be followers) who had to step out of the dinning area middle of their meals while the aarti was being performed. While staff and the management’s belief is of high importance, given the hospitality industry the guests should not have to compromise or be made to feel uncomfortable (i don’t think anyone would comment on it given the sensitivity around the topic. The least they could have done is to announce the aarti timing to everyone, thereby inviting those who want to participate in the aarti to be in the dining hall and not to miss it, or if they didn’t want to, can stay back in their rooms/outside till the arti is over.

We had a superb stay for 2 nights. It was quiet, away from all the hustle bustle of the city life. Amid the nature we did truly found some time to unwind ourselves and relax, spent time admiring the beautiful mountains and serene landscapes. Enjoyed a good swim at their infinity pool too. Callout to Prasad for ensuring we had good time at the restaurant enjoying special maharashtrian delicacies and shout out to Narayan who woke up early in order to get us active with a short trek to a Sunrise point (did some adventure to get native berries called 'torna' - hope I type it right) Also we found our own private sunset point which hardly anyone visited. All in all - had a great time & we look forward to have another vacation soon. And would highly recommend to anyone and everyone who want to have their own self time relaxing and enjoying the nature. P.S. - Property is pet friendly. Our lil Bella (Persian cat) did accompany us on this beautiful vacation.

We enjoyed our stay at nirvana e co and aggro resort. Though it is located away from main points of panchgani, it is a very beautiful place to relax. Beautiful landscape, mixture of modern and traditional architectural rooms options, valley view from swimming pool are the main attractions. Staff is also supportive, as i was with my 6 months old baby they ( staff ) help me to prepare food for my baby. The room was well equipped with basic amenities and the service was excellent. Food over here is pure veg. Tasrte was nice. Though they have limited options for breakfast, taste was like 'ghar ka khana ' which is good. They have baby pool attached to swimming pool and some adventure activities also. Overall if you are looking for a beautiful place to just relax and want great view of valley this resort is good option.

If you looking for serenity and nature feel, than this is the place to stay. Amid valley on hill top with infinity swimming pool you will get valley view. Bit distance located from panchgani but the way to reach resort also thrills you. Very well maintained and hygienic place. Entire property planned very well. Recommend to book deluxe cottage if looking for spacious room. Only the cons factor is timings either start from check-in or check - out or breakfast and kitchen timings. Should be extend minimum by hour so that visitor came to relax should not rush. Don't miss the trucking part, although small trail but good for 2 hour exploration especially the view you get after half hour track. Best for kids to have experience of track as beginner s. Entire staff is very supportive and very prompt in servicing.

I have been to mahabaleshwar a couple of times but never have i enjoyed so much, the place is veg but the food is so good so homely everything is fresh. The best part is this is 12 km f on mapro garden and around same from panchgani so it's isolated and the vibes are just awesome, would recommend a personal car for this place. The staff here are also very accommodating two things to be mindful off 1) this is on a peak and you have a lot of insects 2) mobile coverage is bad although they have wifi in the reception area there is nothing in the room.

The resort is good next to nature just that too reach there it will take around half an hour panchgani local market. Preferably in the morning the travel should be planned to reach there cause its very dark on a ghati without any lights with sharp turns and no internet and one way lane with one side the ghati (hill) and so have to be very careful if another vehicle is coming from opposite direction or else u can fall inside the ghat that's how its made. But it was good when u reach there between the mountains

So we stayed over for a long weekend and everyone here at the resort including the staff, the chef, the service boys were at par with service and too good to be expected. The experience was nothing short of 5 star service with homegrown food and finger-licking taste. I would personally highly recommend if you want to unwind and chill. Loved the stay. 5/5 ratings.

We had the best time at this resort. Awesome views, good service & great pure veg food took our trip to next level fun. Being a pet friendly place, me & my family could really enjoy our time at resort with infinity pool, game room, etc. The best thing about this place is it's location. Best place to enjoy the scenic beauty of Mahableshwar amidst amazing nature.

The resort is very good and best place for relaxing. We stayed in a jodhpur tent and we found a mouse and when we told them they were unable to found. There were other guests too which made too noise and it was difficult to sleep. Otherwise it is a nice resort for a hussle free life

The farm is beautiful, the location has magical views and the pool is awesome. Food is good and staff is cooperative.

Such a pretty place, overall a 5 star for the stay, the view and the beauty of the place. A good getaway place ! although hard to find any cab service since it’s located in the outskirts of the city.

The property is placed on hill top giving excellent views and good environment. The staff all of them are warm and welcoming and proactively asking for our requirements and feedback. Ample parking space, good space for kids play area, large swimming pool and good lawns make it an complete family stay destinantion.

Property is amazing, service is good, only one point to improve is the resort should serve nonveg dishes too.

We stayed in lower deck facing the infinity pool and valley. The whole set up was awesome. The place is well maintained. Only veg option in food but they all taste good. Worth the money!
