hostel beds are good but the upper one is too close to the wall and ceiling fan which is quite dangerous. it's clean, good hospitality, didn't get chance to check the food so no comment on that

Hi, We recently stayed at your property, which is indeed located in a prime area near the bus stop – something we truly appreciated. However, I would like to bring to your attention several serious issues we encountered during our stay. We were a group of three ladies and had initially requested a change of accommodation due to concerns about the setup, but unfortunately, no attention was given to our request. Additionally, there was no hot water available during our stay, which caused significant discomfort. Most importantly, one of my friends was injured by a ceiling fan due to the close proximity of the fan to the bed in the dormitory setup. This is a serious safety hazard and could easily happen to anyone. Such an arrangement is dangerous, especially for tourists who are unfamiliar with the room layout. We urge you to take these concerns seriously and make the necessary improvements to ensure guest safety and comfort in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We hope you will take appropriate action.

It was pretty good. The vibe was nice. Place was clean was kitchen had necessary stuff owner was nice. It was fun talking with him, but yeah, rooms were little congested and rooftop could have been a little better

We had a horrible stay he is extremely rude and unprofessional towards management and stay and rooms is having no Ac facility even though price full payment and rooms were not clean and also argumented unecessarily and even he provided the. Vehicle for the travel was not good it stopped in the middle of nowhere scooter and because of this our whole day got wasted very bad experience!!!!

Location is difficult to reach via small streets with no parking space around. Washroom’s were not clean the rooms were fine. The host could have been Polite initially however later he was fine and accommodated the request.

Dear guest, You booked a hostel where guests are between the ages of 18 and 35 and where we only have dormitories. We had no idea you were a family until you reached the property. After you reached, we told you we couldn't accommodate you and offered you a refund, because we don't allow people below 18 years, and you had young kids with you. Also, being a hostel, we allow people to drink and also smoke in our common areas. Not only would this environment make you feel uncomfortable, but our other guests, being the gentle people they are, would neither feel comfortable. So we offered you to drop your luggage, freshen up and relax, so you can find an alternative. After your unsuccessful search, you said "no property offers a cleanliness matching our common bathrooms". We then told you to look for something more premium. That was also a failure, as most properties matching our standards were much pricier than we were. So you forced us "emotionally" to allow your family as you didn't want to be "stranded". And we only agreed, because of your insistence and despair. Next time, please be more responsible with your planning. It would make things easier for everyone. Best regards,

There was staff shortage in the hostel, it was overpriced for the kind of facilities it has, the owner is good, the locality is not good, the bus station is nearby which is a good thing. Their gutter isn’t covered and all the dirty water in the gutter is visible and is smelly too. Enjoy your stay traveller!

I had a great stay at Nomad House in Pondy.. It felt like home. I made amazing friends, and Kevin was incredibly kind and helpful. He even helped me in renting a bike and checked on me after I left. The pet dog, Puppy, is the true boss of the hostel...I highly recommend everyone to stay here..it’s so peaceful, and it’s wonderful to meet people like Kevin 🤠

I went solo during November Cyclone period. The dorm stay was quite awkward with old comforter. The washroom buckets are dirty. During Cyclone the main gate got over flooded. The staff was irresponsible over our safety and evacuation. No power backup facility. Don't travel alone in night , you will be chased by street dogs.

Dear Supriya, Among all the guests who stayed at the property during the cyclone, you were one of the few who came knowing there was a cyclone hitting the city. You called us before your arrival to ask us if it was possible to cancel or postpone due to the condition, and we fully agreed with that due to circumstances. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather, nor can we control the damage to our city. The whole city was flooded, electricity was out everywhere, and yet we went out, organized relays to get food, water, and other essentials for everyone. We were forcing autos to operate so whoever needed to leave the city could leave and, after a lot of effort, we managed to get a generator, so people could charge their batteries, as our back-up was out after 36 hours of full usage. Regarding cleanliness, we're known to be one of the cleanest properties in the whole city. It's possible that, during that catastrophe, the staff might not have performed their job correctly. But I'm 100% confident that, had you told us during your stay about this, we could have fixed it. Regarding flooding, water never came inside the property. We made sure of it. Best regards,
