Ocean Breeze Cottage Gokarna

Clean room and service was so good, they treated us very politely and provided whatever we need

Nice place to stay and chill they provide high speed internet service and the cottage was really clean and good. The staff are very friendly.

This is our 2nd time staying here.. Food was awesome and the room was super clean. They had all the facilities and staff were available 24/7. Very close proximity to the beach. Access to the location is a bit tough.. I mean walking in the sand to reach the stay is really very difficult especially from 9 am to 5 pm due to the very hot sand.

The place is located exactly opposite to the beach. Rooms were clean and hygienic. Staff was supportive. Food was not that good but overall our stay was good and peaceful. Location is exactly the same as shown in the pictures.

Very bad experience The location mentioned in the app is wrong, so we had to travel back to the right location The rooms are dirty with dirty curtains and no ventilation very suffocating. There were alot of bugs and lizards. There’s no hot water available in the room. The location is very far on the beach , we had walk till there. There’s construction going on so it’s very annoying with all that sound. There’s litreally nothing.

It was very close to the beach. So it helped us to have a good quality time. Everything was good ☺️

The atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant and hygienic. The food quality in the restaurant is excellent and hygienic. The staff behaves politely and respectfully. The beach of the hotel is very beautiful, peaceful and quiet. It is very clean. In my opinion, Gokarna is a good place to go with family in Mahabaleshwar.

Nothing was good.. the room was not clean.. the wifi was not working..there is no hot water...it is very hard to suvive even a night here...

The only good thing of this cottage is it is near the beach and the staffs are very descent. Rather than these aspects, there is nothing to appreciate. The cottage is surrounded by some other under-contructed properties. The cottages are covered by green nets to safeguard from cement mixtures. Ocean Breeze is charging almost double to enjoy the balcony view in 1st floor but what you can see is only green net. Basic amenities such as Television, water bottles, almirah, landphone, water heater are missing. There is no light outside the property, so you will feel unsafe to go outside after dusk. I have paid but this property doesn't even worth 1000. I am wondering why the hell someone can charge such a hefty amount for a property which is covered by other under-constructed buildings.

Photos is one thing and what we see there is another. This is the case with most of the hotels in Gokarna. Negatives: this is far off from usual places - roads are narrow, cleanliness of premises can be better - I understand it is facing the beach but that should not be an excuse to do regular cleaning. Positives: beach facing. Final verdict- if you don’t care about the stay and you are rather interested in the beach facing location, you can go. Keep expectations low

No hot water supply, we had to call every time for bucket of water, dirty maintenance only sand all over the cottage
