Good location, friendly staff, and jacuzzi room was very good. Buffet dinner/lunch is not available. I would like to give a suggestion to the owners of the property that they have chained 3 dogs for whole day to the trees without proper water and food which is very inhuman act. Please allow them to be free of chain at least 8 hours in a day or at night times. Those dogs are suffering. Please consider the request. Thanks

We had an amazing stay at Old Kent Estates. We went in late July, it was monsoon season. The road to the property is not proper. It was a little off-road but still good enough for a car. Property itself is really beautiful and gives a rustic vibe. Surrounded by lush greenery on all sides. We had booked the English Cottage. Very spacious and pretty and good for 3. It had large window on one side which gave a good view. The bathroom was also huge and it had a large bathtub as well, very neat and clean. The food was also fantastic. Breakfast buffet options were a little limited but quality was undeniable. Lunch and dinner was also freshly prepared and we found almost every item of high quality. Best picks for us - kummu mushroom curry, shahi tukda. Overall it was a 5/5 experience for us. It is great for a weekend getaway and we would definitely want to visit again.

The place and room food etc all there top notch, rooms were so cleaneness and well mentioned

The property and plantation walk was great. The food was less than average. They only have buffet for dinner They served regular food. If planning to stay, ai would suggest to have dinner outside at some good local place

Not a great experience at the price we paid . It was around 15k per night. 1. The food was pathetic. The dinner they charge 14k person inclusive tax. 2. The approach road is very narrow and poor conditio. Its bit unsafe also to drive there, may drift. 3. Rooms are not maintained, you can see insects and lizards especially in cottage. 4. The overall staff was very friendly. 5. Conclusion: not at all worth the money you pay.

Old Kent Resort is a lovely property for someone who wishes to just relax and enjoy Coorg and it’s weather. At the same time Old Kent needs to improve their service as there is no intercom service in the rooms. Food variety and quality also needs improvement.

we stayed for 2 nights at this property and would like to give them a five star rating. This is for some one who wants a laid back experience, to do absolutely nothing and admire the serenity and tranquility of life and greenery around you. the property is absolutely on the rustic side with top notch maintenance. i would surely recommend for a family or group get togethers or a private couple stay. Food was a minimal option but very delicious. The staff were very responsive. The property has a very long history of more than 150 years and each of its details are preserved very carefully.

Midst of 200 acre coffee estate , perfect colonial gateway from hustling life of bangalore. Rooms, hospitality and food were awesome.
