The cottages are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a great stay experience. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. Ibrahim (GM), Sampath Kumar, and Sunil were especially helpful, making sure everything was taken care of efficiently. Their hospitality added to the overall experience. The property has good amenities, including walking trails, a library, and a games room. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy nature without distractions. The estate is designed to offer privacy and tranquility, making it ideal for a peaceful getaway. Areas for Improvement: Intercom System: Mobile network is weak in the area, and staff can only be contacted via mobile phones, which is inconvenient. Installing an intercom in the cottages would make it easier to reach them. More Local Cuisine: While the food was good, the buffet meals could include more authentic Coorg dishes to enhance the experience. Overall, Old Kent Estates offers a comfortable and peaceful stay with excellent service. A few small improvements would make it even better. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with helpful staff and a beautiful natural setting, this is a great choice.

We stayed at old kent estate for one night. The estate itself is beautiful, situated on a hill, and our suite room was spacious, which was a definite plus. However, a major disappointment was the lack of a balcony large enough for seating, something we really expected. The dinner and breakfast buffets were good, and the staff were responsive and polite. The wifi was completely non-functional from check-in to check-out, a significant problem compounded by the poor mobile network in the area. This made working remotely impossible. The drive to the property was also a concern, with the last seven minutes being particularly rough and potentially damaging to our car. Many estates in coorg offer bonfires, but this wasn't an option at old kent. Ultimately, while the estate has potential, the lack of a balcony, unreliable wifi, poor road access, missing amenities, and the overall price made the stay feel overpriced.

Amazing stay at the property. You will experience a proper disconnect from the hustle and bustle of a city. Waking up to sounds of birds chirping, beautiful views was absolutely serene. Food : breakfast is good, dinner can be improved, but no complaints as such. Location : slightly away from madikeri (around 11 km. Travel-ling by car/bike is suggested. Activities : variety of activities offered at the property including, but not limited to, star gazing, short hike in the coffee estate, spa and so on.

The resort is an old-world charm. My stay in the Jacuzzi cottage was pleasant like a perfect antidote to my hectic routine. The resort has a spa, pool table, indoor games, and exceptional service from the staff. Breakfast was complimentary and the lunch/dining options vary depending on occupancy, with both buffet and à la carte choices available. à la carte menu is priced slightly higher.

The old kent estates is beautifully designed with cottages, private gardens, and panoramic views of the western ghats, making it an ideal destination for a quiet getaway honeymoon and family vacations. Such a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the beauty of nature

Had a good experience, loved the room we booked and the service was also great. They have to work on the road as it might slightly trouble small vehicles as there are many big stones on the stretch for 1km we reach old Kent.

Great place to stay, it was so relaxing. Food was yum and staff was so helpful and friendly. Location wise it's 30 mins before madikeri and a bit of off reading too but the place is worth it.
