Old Magazine House by Jungle Lodges

Hello, Location is nice, serene and accommodation is ov the level og government guest houses. Food was ok. The trip to Timber depot was ok too, maybe a little more time would have helped in a better birding experience.

Terrible place, poor quality of rooms. Food quality is average. Staff is okay but be careful with pudalik staff member. Not expecting muddy water for shower

I had gone to omh/dandeli for birding. The birding experience was very good. The staff is also courteous and helpful. However the rooms are very basic and general upkeep of old magazine house needs improvement.

The real place is just so very different, they just have one structure that housed few rooms and that’s it. That was a shocker. One would feel like they’ve come to some govt property, not maintained and with abandoned cottages. The price they charge for such a property is exuberant. This property is strictly for the ones who love bird watching and that’s the only you’ll get here.

Excellent overall experience. Good hide photography. Number of bird species come to the hide setup. Good staff. Simple and good food.

This is a hidden gem! Bird watchers paradise! Mother Nature's cradle! You may spot Malabar squirrels, upto 45 types of birds and 20+ types of butterflies here. The rooms are very clean and hygienic. The staff led by Mr Nadaf is very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Food is simple but very tasty and healthy. The dining hall is a great place to eat and relax and make friends with others. Mr Nadaf not only manages the day to day work but also imparts his knowledge on nature with visitors. He enlightened us on the intricacies of the lives of insects, birds, trees and animals. It was a great pleasure to talk to him. Old magazine house is really great place to visit. Makemytrip made it possible. Thanks A Lot MMT🙏🏽🙂

Old magazine house property of jlr is a must visit place. It's a great place for bird lovers and also for people who would like to just relax. The food is awesome. Staff is very courteous. They ensure that the guests get 100% of the money they spend. Rooms are decent. Location is fabulous. Overall the experience is very nice.

Very nice experience. Nice place getaway. Network issues are there. But its all good as u get to click amazing birds. Wide variety of birds can be located. Hv to be lucky though. Great food. Nice pleasant stay. 8/10.

Two nights stay, good food, good place for birding, however compared to it's price facilities such as mobile connectivity must be provided

The rooms are quite big but a bit old. Lot of renovation work going on but this is the only low. The food was really healthy and good. The staff and their service is exceptional and the knowledge they have about wildlife is tremendous.

Overall good experience, must for a people who love to see birds and other animal. Nearby to the location from this place. So guys don't wait, animal loveer please visit and stay in the old Maganize hotel only. Decent and reasonable.

Though it is in the midst of the jungle, the service, food, facilities and the staff can all be ranked as Excellent! The place is a blessing for birders and bird photographers. Had an excellent time and enjoyed every moment of my stay at Old Magazine House.

We had a very good stay at the jungle resort and it was relaxing and pleasant. The place itself is situated at the base of a hillock and covered in thick foliage of woods. The room is very well appointed and the food as very good. Though we visited off-season, we were still able to find a good number of birds and also able to watch giant squirrel and other rare animals, all within the resort itself. The staff was also very courteous and helpful. Overall a very good experience.

A location that's beyond our confirmation zone in true wilderness. A must visit place for all those looking to relax not just there bodies but also their minds. Highy recommendation for those who find solace in nature's lap ...
