Olives The Boutique Resort Wayanad

Me and my wife stayed in luxury Mountain View Cottage at Olives Homestay from 10th April - 11th April 2016. This place is very close to Wayanad bus stop. Just 300-400 meters away from a crowded market, you will find this place - home away from home. This place is very close to all the major tourist spots and market yet it is quiet and scenic place. Hospitality was really good. I would like to thank Mr. Biju for such a good hospitality and making sure that we are comfortable and enjoying our time there. Food is really delicious. Had dinner and breakfast. Good variety at a really cheap price. We had wonderful time at Olives Homestay. Planning to visit this place again with my Family in June 2016.

As the tagline of the resort says you home in wayanad it totally lives up to its name. Mr and Mrs Biju were great host and were just a call away for any needs..from arranging our spa session to telling us the nearby attractions Mr. Biju was a great help. we stayed there for 2 days and both days we woke up to the delicious food by Mrs. Biju. The variety in breakfast menu was on point from appam to dosa to idli you name it ,it was there. The hospitality is what I want to come back again.The rooms were big and clean and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Will sure come back. Thanks for having us Mr. and Mrs. Biju.

The owner's of Olive's Homestay have put in tons of thought, care and money in designing and building their premises and rooms. Chances are that you would be surprised to find a rooms with amenities much better than what you expected. And it doesn't end there. The hosts are extremely courteous and helpful. Their complimentary traditional breakfast was delectable, so I'm guessing it would be worth dining in at theirs as well. Want to explore food outside? No problem. Ask the owners and they would tell you exactly where to go and I was not disappointed with their recommendation.

The luxury suite provided to us was awesome with all the amenities and facilities, it had a lovely balcony and the view from there was great. The breakfast was very tasty and the guy and his wife were great hosts. They arranged for a cake as well for our anniversary. The dining area is very nicely decorated and there were lots of options to enjoy your time like carom, chess, etc and a library as well. The pool is also well maintained. Overall we had a great stay and would love to go back sometime again and stay in the same room.

The homestay itself is fairly centrally located, fairly close to Kalpetta town, an urban area. So if you are looking for something completely secluded and in the wilderness, this may not be your thing. But at the same time, it is in a very quiet locality with beautiful views of the misty Ghats (mountains). The vegetarian food in the homestay was very good by Kerala standards (good vegetarian fare is very hard to find in Kerala, unless you are properly advised or lucky!) Kudos to the staff, who were very helpful and engaging!

We stayed for 3 nights. Stay was very comfortable. Rooms are good with nice interior. Location is good and calm. It would be better if you have own vehicle as it is little far from main city and rarely we get autos. There are games like badminton, chess, carom and also pool. It is actually a home stay and owner family stays there itself in other building nearby. There are Around 6 rooms approx for guests. Owner family is really too good, helping and make us feel at home.

Nice location and also this homestay is different than others which I visited as this had things more than a stay. It's like a mini resort. Food was good and view from our room was very nice. Only small setback was to checkout at 10 am, we wanted to checkout at 11 am but it was told us to vacate at 10 am as there were other occupants coming at 12. So be ready to leave early during you last day. Overall, a very good place to stay during wayanad trip.

We stayed in luxury mountain view room for 2 days (15-05-2017 to 17-05-2017). The view from the room was awesome and the interior of the room is well done. The room was very clean and we enjoyed their particularly appam). The hospitality was good. It's located around 2 km from Kalpetta town and easily accessible. They accept only cash currently and I would suggest them to provide option to pay using card.

The place is really awesome and staffs are very friendly including the owners. Nice pool and total privacy but not much to see around and there is no lunch and dinner available at the place. But not to worry, the owners will arrange for food from the near by restaurant which they have tie up with.

We stayed in this Olive home stay from 29-01-2017 to 01-02-2017. We received good hospitality and enjoyed the calm & pollution free atmosphere. The homely food items as per our request and requirement offered to us were with nice preparation. All sight seeing covered from this location were found to be convenient. For family this is worthy for peaceful staying.

Highly recommended for families. Homely environment. Very well-maintained property with lot of greenery. Owners are very simple and helpful. I travelled with my 8 months old kid and did not face any issue. They allowed to use their kitchen to cook baby food. I short, it was home away from home.

Excellent service. Rooms get little cold because of ventilation and water takes time to heat but other than that no issues.

All facilities are Available near by. Place is not far from town. So well connected and kind centre place to stay and visit tourists place in waynad

Very nice home stay. Great food. Great location. Limited rooms and they give very good service. I suggest everyone to stay at least for a day you will love it. I have never seen such a good home stay so far. Owner is very humble and they cook food based on our taste.

Excellent service by the staff. Rooms are big enough. But there was a problem with the heater and we dint get enough hot water to bath. Loved the place though, peaceful and away from chaos.

Though the owners stay at the property and it's not a huge one but still there is charm about this place. The owners are very helpful and ensures that the guests are comfortable at all times.
