Highly recommended for family. Big rooms which easily can accommodate additional bedding provided for extra pax. King bed is good. Microfibre quilt is warm and sufficient for nova cold. Linens are clean. So is the bathroom. Has a 4 seater sofa inside room (1+1+2. They don’t serve lunch but dinner served was tasty and freshly cooked. Price for the dishes were quite reasonable. Breakfast options were basic with poha, toast and omelette plus corn flakes. But overall liked it. Views around the Orange Homestay | Rooms & Restaurant is nothing special unlike few others like jiva, labana etc but still highly recommended. Specially most stays in that place are not available for booking.

The place is a little away from the main thoroughfares. The staff was in rest mood. But, were quick enough to allot the rooms at the 3rd floor, (which has a sitting area and a dining area, apart from 4 rooms) the reception is at 1st floor. Few rooms and dining on 2nd floor. The property has no lift, so we need to climb the stairs. The pros. The caretaker is very caring, whenever available. The food is served in the dining area on the same floor. The rooms are clean and tidy. The linen is clean. The room has a kettle with tea and coffee sachets. Basic toiletries are provided. Overall, the stay was excellent

our stay in *orange home stay* was very nice. the staffs are very young and full of enthusiasm. the stay is far from the cacophony of shilong city. rooms are very clean and well maintained. going towards *charapunji* & *mowlinnog* is very easy. *few suggestions:* home stay should have a map of nearby visiting places coz we went from the homestay to *shilong view point*& *elephant falls* but the road we followed was through village and roads were broken , so we couldn't go from to see those..... we should have gone through shilong city... that kind of guidance will be very helpful. 😌🙂. no that's all🙂

This is one of the best home stay i have stayed till now. It's almost like a nice 3 star Orange Homestay | Rooms & Restaurant. - friendly staff - ambience on point - make you feel like home - serenity around is good - food was delicious in short the property worth staying, but there is a problem if you opt this property, it's very far from the main center point of shilong, also need not to mention the amount of traffic make it worst. If you have own vehicle than recommended or else stay at centre point or somewhere in 7th mile road.

Well maintained rooms, premium bathroom fittings, terrace garden with lilies and other flowers 3. Doesn't have lift. Reception on first floor. Rooms on second and third floor. 4. Didn't check out the restaurant 5. Away from crowded police bazar

A very comfortable stay at orange home stay. The food was excellent and lots of warmth in the service. Need to specially mention of rhishant. His service was one of a perfect host and allowed us to carry back fond memories. The distance from city center is a challenge and hopefully the leadership team can organize transportation at affordable costs. My review feedback does have 30 and more characters. Do i get 7% discount?

This place is outside the main city of shillong and hence it's easier to visit southern areas of meghalaya as you skip the traffic completely. Food is delicious and the staff is very polite. Rooms are also good. However, they should install mosquito nets on the windows so that windows can be kept open at night. Ac isn't present in all the rooms and ventilation is required

One of the reasons we selected this Orange Homestay | Rooms & Restaurant was because of the parking facility provided. Location is a bit out of the way and it's problematic to find transportation to visit city centre and shopping areas, it's not an issue if one is travel-ling in hired taxi. In-house food service was good and hygienic too. Overall a good experience.

The stay was comfortable and we found the details mentioned on mm t to be pretty accurate. The staff was very helpful and also helped us with the itinerary preparation.

It's a good experience to stay at orange homestay. Rooms are good and clean. Staffs are helpful and well behaved. All time hot water available. Bedsheet, pillows and other items are well cleaned and fresh. Me and my family enjoyed staying here.

The first thing you notice about the property is the cleanliness! i think that’s something that stands out ! staff were cordial and prompt to any assistance requirement. Good could have been slightly better in taste but the fact that they make it on demand and serve it hot trumps that! overall a big thumbs up!
