Water is not coming in the washroom. They were proving water through bucket. Their service is pathetic, property is not maintained & inside the room you will find spider web & lizards.

Terrible Stay

Unfortunately this was not the Sterling experience one would expect. Right from the start the room was horrible smelling, had to immediately change. Then they gave another room which was having broken bathroom glass door. Next day morning the bathroom draining got stuck and they got a plumber to fix it. Then the flush wasn’t working!! Food was ok, amenities were not working. Even the kids arcade was under maintenance. Common toilets were not clean. Overall a very disturbing, disappointing and forgettable experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the sterling orange village, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment my family & i arrived, the warm and professional staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was immaculate, spacious, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the view from my room was simply stunning! i would specially like to give my gratitude to ms sabita, because of her sweet gesture to give us a complimentary room upgrade. The level of service was outstanding. Every staff member i interacted with went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, whether it was helping with local recommendations or promptly attending to any requests. The hotel restaurant, sunthaley chulo served delicious meals, with a variety of options catering to different tastes. Breakfast was a highlight, and the staff’s attention to detail, including swarup’s prompt service, made our experience extremely better. Overall, sterling offers the perfect combination of comfort, luxury, and outstanding service. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting gangtok, they can have a luxurious stay in this hotel and i'm definitely looking forward to staying here again.

familyOutstanding place. Loved it. We were upgraded to the premium room as i visited with family. Pritika the front desk manager was very courteous & the staff welcomed us with a smile. The room was spacious with a balcony having a great view. With an extra bed too, there was space in the room. Hot water was available 24 hours. The food was tasty and the portion fulfilling both veg and non veg. Complimentary breakfast menu had a good spread. We loved the hotel location as it was outside the crowded/cramped zone of gangtok. We rate our stay with 7 stars.

familyThe property is located in ranipool which is far away from central parts of gangtok like mg marg, flower show etc. So one has to budget for extra travel time. The main hotel has iconic architecture in wood but the drapes in the reception & restaurant look like they need a god cleaning. The rooms in the casino building are very modern & chic. We were lucky to have a valley view room. The staff is courteous & travel desk (ms. Reshma) is very helpful, accommodating last minute requests.

Property is good but food is tasteless and housekeeping services are pathetic. They are a holiday resort but they have not imbibed the culture of that industry.

familyIt was wonderful experience stay there wonderful view from premium cottage hill view 10km from MG marg if you take taxi minimum 400 you have to spend for only going there and return time if you get share taxi 100 rs you have to pay for each person else 400 to 500rs you have to spend for this 10km atomsphere of hotel was good and there hospitality also good food was aswsome 👍

familyNice experience to stay with sterling property in gangtok. However, we feel since they are in outer skirt of the town, they should provide conveyance to the travellers for going to mall road with charges. Except that they have a good location, excellent hospitality and a good food.
