Orchid Homestay Munnar

I stayed here with my family and relatives, and booked 6 rooms for 2 nights. Overall, we had a good experience at this property. This property is a few km before munnar city, i think approximately 8-9 km. Rooms were clean and wherever needed, the owner had supported us with our requests. About the cost, we felt that it was a bit expensive. Additionally, i would also like to highlight that not all the rooms have a kitchen. While booking this property, we thought that the kitchenette was included but when we reached, we found that it was not included. So, i believe this information needs to be corrected on the mm t site to avoid any confusion.

I was trying to find a place just to relax with my family and did not want to be in a crowded resort. I was not looking for much of any activities as well. Hence, landed finding this wonderful place called orchid homestay. It is situated in anachal and easily accessible by road. The villa is very well maintained, very clean. The service provided by them was excellent. They took care of every little thing. They are providing trekking facility, it was good trekking experience with the family, we started trekking early morning at 5:30. Scenery and climate was beautiful.

Orchid homestay was a tranquil retreat for our two-day stay. The serene atmosphere and warm hospitality gave off positive vibes, making us feel right at home. Their jeep safari service was an incredible experience, helping us explore munnar with ease. I highly recommend giving it a try for a peaceful and secure stay, especially for families with children.

Location was really nice. Host was very helpful and kind. He also owns a jeep on which one can go for the Safari with reasonable price. Place is Little bit away from main Munnar village but anyways tourist places are scattered all over the place. So, this distance doesn't matter. I would definitely recommend this place for families.

The location was peaceful and excellent with a beautiful view of the hills and sunrise, the balcony was a very big added advantage if you are going as a group, a small negative point is the hen which was kept in a cage is making noise from early morning 5 which is disturbing the sleep.

The stay was awesome, caretaker was also very good and he took care of us, he asked us for water and even we had a geyser and tv was not working, so he somehow made it work, awesome experience and location is also very chill, so after all amazing experience. Ok

It was a wonderful stay at this homestay for us. Our host was very kind and knowledgable. The highlight was the jeep safari we took with him to many interesting places. We enjoyed here. The stay was quite and comfortable. We hope to visit here soon. Thank you.

The place was so great with all the amenities and the host was also very helpful, generous and cheerful. The pet-friendly stay place was best for nature lovers and bird watchers. We were woken up by bird chirpings and lovely nature sounds

If you are looking for a budget friendly safe homestay for family near munnar, this is the right place for you. The hospitality of the caretaker is really nice. Felt like i visited my relatives home

This property is located in midst of a lush green. Walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants. It has kitchen facility. Owner is very helpful. It’s located at 20 minutes drive to munnar.
