The property is actually Behind a cafe on the cliff and pretty much everyone uses it as a common passage to the road. Staffs are not adequate and couldn’t even provide water quickly

soloThe caretakers are a warm and friendly couple, always greeting you with a smile. However, the external photographs are highly misleading, to say the very least. If you think you're going to a peaceful quiet cosy spot by the sea, you would be mistaken. The place is high up on the cliff, and in the middle of the hustle and bustle of varkala. There is no sea view at all, at least in the first cottage. Be careful if you have a four wheeler because they have limited parking space and a very tight access. Additionally, some of the amenities they have mentioned in the room do not exist. There is no electric kettle, no room service/pillow menu since there is no attached restaurant (but there are panty of cafes around, there is a tv but there's nothing on it as the set top box won't work. A very average place at best. The caretakers are a warm and friendly couple. However, the pictures on the property are very misleading, to say the least. If one is expecting a quiet isolated place by the sea, they would be utterly disappointed because it is located on the cliff (albeit the view of the sea is amazing from there) and right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of varkala. There was no sea view in the cottage i was given. There was no view at all, since there is a tall building right in front of the cottage. Even the sea view from the other cottages would be quite distant. The amenities they have listed are also somewhat misleading. There is no electric kettle, no room service/pillow menu as there is no attached restaurant. There are several cafes around but nothing like a room service provided by the place. Those taking their four wheelers should know that the parking area is small and its access is tight. Overall a pretty average place and not worth the price, in my opinion.

Didnt get the cottage what i booked. Enterly different image posted. No waste bin and floor mat were available. Water shortage sometimes, tv was not working. Difficult parking, only 1 car can hold. Total dissapointed stay except outer view.

Stay is good. Good room and care taker is so helpfull. Neat room. Bathroom is neat and good. The problem is car parking. Their is no sufficient space for car parking but care taker helped to park car safely. Also like the name of cottage sea view is not possible because there is a restaurant in front of the cottage if we open the curtain people in the restaurant can see inside the room so there will be no privacy. Rest of the things are good. Its a nice stay. Nothing. Rest of the things are super. Nice stay. Only car parking and sea view is the problem
