Orion Retreat | Jungle Huts

The cottages are outstanding. Property is peaceful, staffs are extremely cordial and maintains the privacy. Perfect destination for solo travellers like me. They arrange bonfire, they have a guitar in the dinner hall for guests, serve food in the courtyard if you want to enjoy nature. The aloo jeera is a must try. All foods are delicious. I just hoped if they had a room heater as the place is too cold in winter.

Beautiful location, away from the crowd. Accessible from all points in and around darjeeling. Nice room, good food and service. the room is extremely cold, so I would prefer room heater to be must and be a part of the Tariff. Last but not the least Mr Gagan is a gem of a person and he made sure our stay in the property is the most comfortable for us. Thank you.

location is lil bit hard to find for outsider as it is far from main town and as it is in the forest so please avoid winter season to stay there . otherwise staffs were polite and helpful . but the rate of food is high so it's not so much pocket friendly . but it will definitely give you a different experience 😊

The room was nice and comfortable, the room was very cleaned. I got all the basic facilities that I needed. The food was not much great. I met the caretaker and the owner, they were nice and helpful. Reaching the property was easy, it was in a good location. I enjoyed staying in that property.

It was a pleasant stay with friends at the property. The location was really great as its centrally located, the rooms were comfortable and the facilities were good as well. Property management was good. The view from the property was splendid. Value for money.

Staying amidst the forest was my dream and Orion retreat has successfully fulfilled it. The cottages are spacious and cozy. All the staffs are friendly and helpful.

Excellent spot if you want to experience jungle stay while living in town. They have a huge real jungle for us.

The staff was courteous. Owner was really friendly. amenities like heater and bonfire are available but separately charged. Ask the cook to use less oil and spice ;)

It was fantabulous staying at this place. Great food, welcoming staff and owner. The charges are nominal. Very calm and quiet place to relax. Loved the bonfire specially!

Location awesome. Food too good. Ambience is excellent. But sonada does not have much to offer ok for one night stay over

As my tagline says this property is located in the woods with a valley view. The rooms were good, spacious and very clean. The ambience of the property was the best part. The food quality was also very good.
